I've actually known a couple. Or maybe they were just vegetarians...they do exist though.

Probably not a particularly popular opinion but IMHO catch & release is animal cruelty.
If you catch it, kill it and eat it. No issue there. Catch & release just does harm for no good reason.
He's not facing backlash. He is getting tweets from unfuckable hogs, which has the same threat level and merit as a wet fart.
