Neither do the white women that buy their products so I can’t see this hurting them

I would have been more surprised if a Starbucks CEO admitted they do like white people.

I don't think I've had Starbucks in at least two years, maybe 3 or 4. If I want franchise coffee there's a bunch of Dunkin Donuts around, and extra bonus their food doesn't taste nearly as microwaved as Starbucks. I usually just make coffee at home. It seems all the local coffee shops around here are just weird. I want a coffee shop where I can sit down and have some fairly normal coffee and not feel like I have to talk about how great my Prius is and where I get my CBD oil.

I'm used to CEOs being pro-buisness and coldhearted, now they are anti-business and coldhearted

When did we start having affirmative-action at a CEO level?

Then why doesn’t she open Starbucks in ghettos?

Likewise - all the Sam’s clubs near me are in affluent and, dare I say, WHITE areas of town.

As a racist she likes to talk the talk but about “using her platform” but she doesn’t actually DO anything to help the black and minorities neighborhoods.

And for all her talk - she still do like White man’s money.

I have never seen a racist business leader actually put their money where their mouth is.

What has Starbucks done to help black communities? As we know, stable affluent businesses reduce crime and increase standard of living in areas they operate, so Starbucks should be opening their stores in the most crime-ridden, dangerous areas that exist near black communities, in order to assist in their transformation.

But obviously, they don't. Because they want to make money. So they cater to nice safe, gentrified neighborhoods primarily.

What has Starbucks done to help black communities?

They don't help anyone, except themselves, so specific areas of interest won't really bother them much either.

Remember when they wouldn't even hand out free water during 9/11.

What has Starbucks done to help black communities?

They stopped requiring you to buy something to use their restrooms a while ago.

It didn't work out well for them and I think they reneged on it.

What has Starbucks done to help black communities?

Give obesity and diabetes to white people? I've heard that black people then to be disproportionately fat so it levels the playing field.

I have never even tried a Starbucks coffee, and I live right near one. I'd sooner hit pretty much anything else for .. whatever the hell Starbuck's sells.

Hell, Raunchy Ronnie's has decent coffee now. Apparently it's the same coffee that A&W used to sell back when I was driving and there were no Tim's in places with fewer than 10K people - that was good coffee.

But mostly I just make my own coffee.

It seems that most people who like Starbucks go there for the dessert drinks they sell that are coffee based. So sure, if you want a coffee chocolate milkshake, pick up a macchiato or whatever. If you dislike coffee except when it is filled with milk and sugar, get a latte.

(And make sure you ask for some trivial change to the recipe so it seems like you have specific, refined tastes)

Their actual coffee isn't spit-out BAD - you'd drink it if you were handed it - but it is mediocre and overpriced, so don't bother trying it.

Its not designed for people to get their coffee fix. Its designed for people to get their sugar fix with caffeine in it because that's not a combo you can get elsewhere.

If you have a strong coffee addiction like a lot of people, it'll barely tickle your itch because of how bogged down the coffee itself is.

I've been drinking my coffee straight-up since I was 16. I've tried some of the fancy coffee drinks over the years, and can't say I really care for them. They're OK for a change, I guess (I didn't mind the International Coffee mixes they used to sell, for instance) but I don't go out of my way for it any more, beyond maybe making my own if I need to use up some whipped cream.

She sounds like a racist but this article is fake news. She was the COO of Starbucks and her boss was Kevin Johnson, a white guy. She's not even on the executive page anymore.

It will be interesting watching how this NWO agenda plays out here in the US. They are currently in the drivers seat and I expect them to stay there.

Auschwitz happened, bitches.
