I don't know why I have to say this, but you probably need to find an actual hobby or something. I literally never notice when "National Woman's Day" is. You're hyper-focusing on it.
As much as I think TheImpossible1 beats the drum too damn hard, I have to be entirely fair. I only know it's coming because my current employer IS making a deal out of it. Some staff have posters up (I have to cut the data retention policy because we have no budget to increase capacity despite a half-dozen new VMs coming online but someone's paying to get commemorative posters graphic-designed and printed). I can't quite give details without doxxing myself, but they just announced they'll be having a seminar next week which includes an "empowering women climate action" box. No details on what's in the box other than a t-shirt for the woman in charge and "activities" for 5-10 girls.
I would probably consider getting a job with a different company before your destroys itself (which it's on the way to doing making fiscal decisions like that).
I think you forgot this, but what broke him was when that Gillette ad came out, there was a poll that said that 52% of women agreed with it, but considering these are the same people that gave Hillary a 98% chance of winning, I don’t know why he has Gell-Mann Amnesia about polls. Probably because his bias already was clouding him and he went with it.
It's motivated reasoning, unfortunately. It's stunning to watch him argue with the ethno nats ranting about the jews. Neither of them seem to really grasp that they are doing the exact same thing to two different groups.
I wanted to point out that Lenin opposed the provisional government, even as some other Bolsheviks such as Kamenev supported it, but then I noticed that the date of IWD matches up fairly well with the February Revolution.
In fact, it's on March 8, the exact same day. Amazing.
I just saw my first lead-in to the day in my work inbox. The bold heading was something about how 5 million women lost their jobs in 2020. Apparently that's supposed to invoke some sort of sorrow on my part. Without any context of course. How many men lost their jobs? If it was just 1 million men they would have pointed it out, so I can only conclude it was close to or more men. It's like if I visited a morgue and then wrote an article about how I visited a "healthcare facility" where 90% of the occupants had died on the last month. So much obnoxious manipulation.
We live for struggle. Think of how boring it would be without it. Despair is the greatest vice. We'll fight them until our last breath. No giving up, no matter what.
I'd take that job. I'm not nearly as anti-woman as you, but I'd still be more than happy to collect money to bitch about them online.
Hang in there. Being depressed is another way your enemies win.
Look at it this way, plenty of women are going to suffer from the policies they enact.

I work for schools or school boards. They ain't going down until the government goes down.
Well, there's your answer.
Public School: prisons for children.
Burn the tax base.

Do we get to learn your origin story on the 8th, too?
I'm actually curious, but asked it like that because it's more fun to phrase it like I did.
Why are you like this?
Democrats.
Than whom?
Come on, it's not like rest of the year isn't also filled with gynocentric bullshit.
So tuesday, but with fanfare that its tuesday.
Reminder that International Women's Day was founded by Vladimir Lenin himself, in appreciation for the role women had in the February Revolution.

No need to lose the will to live, my man.
