I want to highlight this because it is vital. The bulwark against the current shitshow will not be found in institutions that are simply Right wing, they must be institutions that are keenly aware of and actively hostile to the threat that the Left represents.
Unfortunately, I agree with you.
It'd be nice to operate in an environment in which it's possible to have an honest debate between left and right, hash out the best ideas of each - I'm not naive enough to think the right has a monopoly on being right about everything for all time.
It's unfortunate because the left, having lost a lot of these arguments, collectively decided to embark upon a project whereby they'd simply infiltrate and eradicate any institution that held a right-wing position so they'd be able to win by default. I think it truly says something that this was regarded as the easier path than coming up with arguments that didn't fail almost every test.
The left has made the anti-left position a necessity because of their hegemonic fixation.
Correct.
Any institution that is not expressly anti-marxist eventually becomes marxist. Always.
Unless an institution is comprised of anit-marxist people who are wide awake to marxist tactics, that institution will be infiltrated and subverted over time until it is fully marxist-controlled.
It needs to be understood that as soon as one marxist gets into a position of power, they will immediately attempt to open the door for other marxists, and close it for non-marxists.
I don't doubt it. But there's a sliding scale of people that are willing to adapt to support people and their tribe. The easier you make it for people to donate USD through a right wing Paypal/Google/Apple Pay service, with a right wing bank that won't cut off your finances for saying it's okay to be white, the more leeway you have to get the message out and build culture without worrying about the death deplatforming squads.
Anyone who thinks cryptocurrency is the answer doesn't understand cryptocurrency. People think that cryptocurrency serves the underdog, but it doesn't - it serves whoever wields the most power in an attempt to control it. That's not you, it's the CCP, or Google, or Amazon. What we need is a payment processor controlled by someone who actively works to prevent it being subverted, not crypto's open invitation to the world.
Well, unless someone can come up with a moneyless system (which even the bull-moose commies and Roddenberry-ites can't seem to imagine), the only real competitor for the currency system is good old-fashioned barter.
(Of course, the only reason humans do "higher" things for fun in the Trek world, is because someone already took away all the television, movies, and social media as distractions. Oh, and drugs and real alcohol, too. So they might as well learn how to paint.)
James is a left-wing institutionalist, so he thinks the destruction of our leftist institutions is a defeat and a significant loss.
It won't be.
That's why we need to build anti-Left institutions now.

It's okay to have them participate as members. But under no circumstance should they be allowed to hold power.

Agreed.
The number one thing we need right now is a bank/payment processor. From what I've seen, that's the biggest hurdle for a lot of the deplorables.
Honestly, that's gonna have to be trading in crypto and metals

We work with what we have, and when it comes to finance... this is what we have.
That or we just ship silver coins at each other.
