She isn't going to quit and they're not going to capitulate. She's going to stomp, they're going to tell her they got her where she is and better damn appreciate it, then she's going to shut her mouth and carry on taking that inflated politicians paycheck.
That's certainly been their intention, it remains to be seen if they've let it run long enough to gain momentum of it's own. Or even if the DNC's aims align with the people they've had sponsoring all of this.
Except she is the future of the Democrats. The one making list of political dissidents, that has no problem ruining the economy and crushing our rights is the future. She is there to stay for a long time.
Lets not forget that r/politics is as leftists as they come, they are even praising the list idea and are all in favor of removing republican/conservatives from polite society and are very young. And from my opinion a good reflection of the new generations.
This is the saddest thing about our political landscape. Regardless of the results of this election, there are a non-negligible group of people that seek to destory their opposition by any means necesary.
Except the left seems to go mainstream on that front. The right is not burning down cities, the right is not out beating people up for having a biden hat, the right is not getting people fired cause they say all lives matter.
From an uneducated and possibly wrong pov I see the right fighting to be left alone and the left fights for ideological dominance. I made a point some time ago, the right is ok with letting California going as left as possible but the left is not ok with the right have a state where they have minimum government interference, freedom of speech and all that. This is why the left is trying to push legislation at a federal level while the right wants to allow liberty to chose, if you want social programs go California, if you want freedom go to Texas.
