People who think communism can work.
posted 5 years ago by yoisi 5 years ago by yoisi +41 / -0

Try communism in your own neighborhood or even just own family first . Just try it and see how well it works.

It's no use talking to them. All the good communists came over to the Right a long time ago. It's just meaningless rhetoric and circlejerking in commie circles now. Choppering them is the only solution.

its why its a cult. There is so much proof that it doesn't work, so many experiments have been done with the lab results always coming back with the same results, and these lab experiments could be easily replicated in their own small confined social circles if they really need more evidence, yet they want to believe BELIEVE that it will still somehow work that it was just done wrong somewhere, somehow. . Just like a cult they come up with the conclusion first and try to work backwards from it.

so much proof it doesn't work

This is true, but like any good cult, they've produced volumes of research of their own that "proves" that it does work ... or at least, seeks to tear everything else down so it's a non-functional as communism, which, for a communist, is almost as good.

Communism works somewhat in a single village with no outside contact.

The moment you introduce competition from another village it must by necessity change.

It's the simplest thing in the world to understand but cummies just don't get it. The world doesn't exist in a vacuum. As soon as you come into conflict with external states communism as an enterprise fails. It cannot function.

Communism works somewhat in a single village with no outside contact.

At that level its just tribalism, but it can work small scale. However even with small hippie communes you get the problem that some people work harder than others and the hard workers will eventually demand a bigger share of the reward.

In small scale, everyone knows who isn't doing the work and they either get beaten or expelled. On large scale, they apply for SSI and SSDI and everyone's screwed.

Well you see there is an insidious part to it.

If they take over the world and make sure communism is everywhere, no one will be able to point out how capitalism works better because it wont be allowed to exist.

Now keep at it for long enough and they will start claiming communism was always the best option, not unlike the 1984 "We were always at war with Eurasia".

There's a reason one of their doctrines is "Ignore the past, slander it if you have to".

Let them try it in class or sports. There was that one experiment with socialism in class where everyone took a test and then divided the grade. They did this several times and the grades would go down and everyone was unhappy. It is a great analogy, initially the students that had low grades were happy and the good students were unhappy but then everyone was unhappy cause the students that study did not want to study for everyone and the students that did not study decided why study at all cause other will study for me.

I want to be a teacher now just so I can try this. I'll do civics and we are going to spend an entire semester with communist grades. It's a shame I'm going to have to fail everyone.

this is one thing I told my wife about communism to convince her why it doesnt work: If "from each according to his ability, to each according to their need" is the building block of communism, then why be a doctor?? a supermarket shelf stacker will get the same pay and benefits. This causes a downward spiral that just ends in collapse.

There will always be naive and idealistic people who need educating, but if they keep those beliefs once they're 30+ then they're probably a lost cause.

I can understand the impulse they have though. They want some kind of solidarity with other people, society isn't helping them "fit in" anywhere. They hate the economic systems and how people are being mistreated. Instead of using some critical thinking and finding out exactly why those are, they follow the first person to hand them a pamphlet and think it's their way to utopia. Most are easily susceptible to propaganda or indoctrination and don't want to reconsider everything they know to be true.

It's similar to how I can understand libertarians and liberals, when they have the desire for freedom and personal sovereignty but aren't willing to admit that humans are basically herdlike social creatures who don't think logically by nature. There needs to be somebody in charge who knows what they're doing and is decided by some kind of test of skill or merit, you can't just think "Enforcing control over people is bad so we need to have the smallest or most restricted government possible" because that just leads to divide and conquer by actually coordinated groups with worse morals.

Many intellectuals went through a Marxist phase in their youth. Thomas Sowell, Shelby Steele, etc. all went through that phase.

You're right in pointing out that it moves from being a theory that gets entertained into a deeply ingrained belief system if they move into their 30s.

The very same left that wants Trump to prove that a vaccine for the China virus will work, feels no compulsion to actually show proof that communism works.

Communism does work. The, ahem, people who came up with it, and who have been pushing it ever since, believe only themselves to be human, and they believe that everyone else is literally soulless cattle, made only to serve them. But the cattle is sentient and much more numerous, so it can fight back. So they lie to the cattle about how communism will make everyone equal and everything will be fair - but those are just lies, the goal is to put them in their place, into perpetual slavery from which there is no escape, while the chosen ones live like kings, as is their right.

And every communist society is like that, every one creates a small ruling class that has everything while the rest has nothing - so it works exactly as designed. The only part that doesn't work is that they really need to establish this system worldwide at the same time, because if there are any non-communist societies, they can't convince the cattle that their system is normal and natural - the only way they could do that is to completely cut themselves off, like in North Korea, but then they're limited to just one country, and North Korea kinda sucks even for the ruling party, the ruling class there can enjoy their power over the cattle, but they're stuck being poor too, a middle class American lives a lot better life than a high ranking North Korean politician. So they have to establish a worldwide North Korea instead.

That's why communist theory doesn't make any goddamn sense at all, it's complete bullshit and it's designed to be. It's just a bunch of promises completely untethered in reality, and simpletons and narcissists who think they're owed things just for existing will latch onto it without thinking. The theory is usually expressed in overly complicated and convoluted terms, because idiots think that means it's really smart.

Communism works for its intended purpose, which is to displace the traditional ruling class and replace them with so called intellectuals.

It is all about power.

its the reason they crack down so heavily on religion, the state becomes their new god and SJWs are just oblivious to the fact that theyre just as zealous as any evangelical christian

At this time it's debatable whether people who think communism can work should be considered people
