Wake me when they build it. There’s no way something like this would be built, it’s just absurd numbers to get even more money from stupid and greedy investors who are betting on AI being able to get rid of all White collar workers.

And this is with them running at a loss! The only way these idiots in charge don’t go bankrupt from replacing people with bad (and expensive) AI is if AGI by some miracle happened, at which point the entire economy collapses and you now have to figure out controlling hundreds of millions of white collar workers who are obsolete.

I guess they could go after regular shmucks, but I feel a lot of piracy cases are for old games that you can’t buy first hand anymore and haven’t for years. Feels like a lot of companies are missing out on easy revenue vs having people hunt down old consoles while the companies don’t see a single cent.

A real botter? Impressive, I thought that was mostly Twitch and X.

He's the worst of the culture war "read an article on YT" people by far. At least with the few of those people I still follow, they have relevant industry experience with insider knowledge that makes them be able to create a value-added product to the articles.

They sound more married than a lot of people I know. This may be the first instance I've read where people complaining about common law marriage are as wrong as can be.

CIA, Mossad, TDS sufferer, "White Supremacist" or (super unlikely) real Iranian?

I don’t think we were whipped like a lot of people think, but instead we’ve got too many military and press members that have gotten high off the Ukraine supply for four years and assumed Russian SAMs are automatically a nonissue, leading to air operations that are flying over airspace protected by modern mobile Russian AA operated by IRGC who actually want to fight back (unlike Venezuela). They don’t want to risk losing an F-22/35 over Iran and it being shipped back to Russia or China which automatically means risky missions are being undertaken by very vulnerable aircraft. Plus, the US’ magic hack invisibility aircraft are all surveillance based (I imagine the black triangle that is spotted once every year or so which is rumored to have a plasma-magetic levitation engine was over Iran).

Furthermore, the blatant ignorance to the drone threat also seems to be based of the assumption from early in the Russian invasion of Ukraine that only an army of idiots is vulnerable to drones, while ignoring how the Russians were forced to change their approach to war, same with the Ukrainians. Apparently we thought suicide drones were something that wouldn’t happen to us. Hubris, man.

Why would they admit that?

"Ah yes, this will solve our rapidly deteriorating public support across the West - reveal the rape dogs!"

Two year delay for an attack? What was she planning to do, build an anti-matter bomb?

It was fine for visual novels at most, hated having them pushed into everything else. So boring and often turned questions that should have had time for a complex decision process behind them into a quick gut reaction.

A dang water hose can knock out most robots. Or oil, or debris getting into sensitive areas, sticky materials...

I’ve never even thought of using those for “fighting climate change”. I guess if it was an actual threat that’s a way to solve it.

Not even a joke about Jews, just Netanyahu. A very very tame one at that.

Also, power projecting an entire ground war against a country that is a giant fortress (ignoring US support) through at least two countries that are at best indifferent seems incredibly taxing.

You can't enjoy the benefits of a Christian society without being Christian or observing a Christian moral frame.

The Elites need more ammo so the dregs of society can inflict even more anarchy to go along with the elite’s tyranny.

I think a lot of the issues are with it being an open world. I know towards the end I just wanted to get done with it and haphazardly ran through a bunch of dungeons and basically the entire snowy area minus the castle in it. I never felt that way in all three DS games and Demon Souls doesn’t let you do that strategy.
