Okami is a good game and I will get around to it at some point his year, want to cross the HD edition off my list.
Berseria has good characters and a pretty good story. Abysmal combat though, it looks flash but you have to equip moves in slots and then string them together. It's alot more fussy than it needs to be and if I wasn't so invested in Velvet and her story I'd have stopped play way sooner.
Yakuza is generally a good series, 0 is best and you can skip Kiwami and miss nothing and go straight to 2.
You should try some management games, shooters or even an RTS if you can find it if you want something a bit more involved.
Gameplay It's one of those new wave of retro shooters that's come out after Dusk, it's a rouge-like shooter where you go through multiple themed levels, leveling up skills to help you and finding weapons and explosives to help you beat the level. You get to keep one weapon you find between levels giving you some choice in how you survive but enough randomness that each area and level feels fresh, even if you're going through a mine themed bunch of levels for instance.
Ep 2 introduced the grapple hook and now has added verticality and bigger maps meaning you can get hurt more often.
it got an Episode 2 this year so it can be up for best Shooter even if it's not finished.
Wanna nominate Mechanicus since it blew up with Mandalore's vid in march but came out 2018, wanna nominate Lobotomy Corp because that also had a playable update that redid the entire English translation this year but that's also 2018 so fug it, Library of Ruina for best sound track. Not only do you have the main floor BGM:
But you've got individual floors like Yesod with their own battle theme:
And then you've got remixes that fit perfectly to other songs. It's a really good OST.
It's either that or Wasteland 3 that had a few stand out tracks, mostly a Wang Chung cover and Monster Mash.
Used when you kill the cannibal cowboys
I swear if I have to hear blood of the lamb again, I'm gonna kill something.
A few hack and slash have come out this year but I've only played One Piece Warriors 4, so that's what I gotta nominate.
I'd like to argue Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin. Sold well and is a charming enough home.
Just wanna post that I've personally enjoyed Nightmare Reaper alot this year.
Just reading up on the deal, here are a few paragraphs I found.
At that point, Britain will leave the European Union’s single market and customs union, severing the economic integration with the bloc forged in recent decades as part of a huge trading area. Britain formally quit the bloc’s political structures in January but opted to remain under its economic rules until the end of the year, pending a trade agreement.
Critics note that Mr. Johnson’s deal secures little for Britain’s important services sector and means added bureaucracy for British businesses exporting to continental Europe that will have to make millions of additional customs declarations.
What this means basically is the UK is untangling itself from the bureaucracy of the EU but in return said EU has no tarif trading with Britain in return. I don't know if they'll have to give up their seat in the EU parliament but there's supposedly another bill after this one where they hash out those details. What this means is not a lot in the future I think. But come a crash in the Euro or another European country suffers a black hole in it's budget that needs to be fed with German bank loans it can't pay back, Britain is under no obligation to help them anymore.
Spellforce 3 Fallen God but Spellforce 3 in general. It has beautifully hand crafted maps that ooze beauty every-time you play. From windswept temples, a beach delta map where rivers meet the sea, to human cities built against cliff and the steaming jungle crawling with brittlebones.
My favorite would have to be the Red Meadow defence mission. Akrog and his pack have to defend a giant red tree that's sacred to Mugwa from tricksy Elves that wish to burn it. The entire time in the meadow the leaves are falling down like in Autumn because the tree is dying.
And Impossible1 for sure, you can guess what he dislikes just from his post history but not just that, everytime you see his name you can pretty much guess his post and everytime you're proven right. He matches Rogel Dorn in stubbornness.
The image auto generates a link to: https://www.instagram.com/accounts/login/?next=/p/CJKRuwZheB5/%3Figshid%3Dmiq4i8jbedpa And even if I do take out the log in park it gets stuck in this never ending loop of loading and reloading. I just simply can't view the image.
Instagram requires a log in to see a post. So I don't even know what you're upset about if you don't archive it.
Just a reminder that Shia's flag in France has been worn down and destroyed by storms and he's forgotten to install another or he doesn't care anymore. Divide in prison
I just wish people would check their sources or provide more info on events that they post about.
For Example:
Link to article saying demographics in US are changing.
Look guys, it's totally proof that we're being replaced.
Article is a puff-piece for a far-left tenured professor to sell you a book.
or
Twitter link about how Trump is working against congress again.
Right talking head saying this make the president look strong and he'll get another 4 years.
Coincidentally their pinned tweet in their timeline are links to a book they've made.
Like I get it, all the bad shit and what not we can see being this far out on the fringe but you gotta double check about things and stop acting like /pol/locks and going "IT'S HAPPENING" all the damn time.
Just want it noted that it's a link to an article that's selling a book. That should be all you need to know.
Don't know about other countries, Ukraine is hush money, Nepal is something, Israel is farely obvious at this point. I do know about Sudan though.
Trump put in $700 million as a bribe for the Sudanese to have formal relations with Israel after the deal looked to fall out. Same thing with Egypt I think, Trump is once again diverting billions away from the US economy for the benefit of Israel. Know people in the different .win communities might not like this but apparently "America First" only applies when Israel isn't involved.
Just finished the game and yeah, Nomad is probably the best from a narrative stand point. Not just because you're a new person in Night City due to your family having just broken up but you get to see the kind of reception you get when you enter the city. Also helps that a good chunk of the quest lines and probably the best ending involves the other Nomad group.
But you have to realize that everything sucks from a narrative point because they skip ahead 6 months between your path and rescuing Sandra Dorcett. It'd be like going though an Origin in Dragon Age, skipping Ostagar and just going straight onto Orzamar, wouldn't make sense because you skimmed over the details to get people invested in characters and story.
That is just one of the many problems gameplay and narrative wise that kill the game.
I've been working out to Miami Vice. Just a 40 minute episode on a treadmill but I can get a few km done while watching something entertaining.
More like the culture of Cyberpunk itself is fetishising trans and sex culture stuff, which does fit with in universe. But that also comes back to bite any review saying "Cyberpunk doesn't go far enough for representation, blah blah," and then they show a video of Johnny saying he'll fuck people.
Case in point
https://twitter.com/KonaYMA6/status/1336419936936275973
Just wanna highlight the double standards. Highest cupsize in the game is a C, which they would claim is "Unrealistic" yet slobber over Johnny like he's a piece of meat.
Also the fucking pronouns and different anatomy during character creation is just cringe.
Depends, if you're on steam you can't block it from auto-updating. You could try exiting steam and retrying to download, maybe that'll fix it.
Renegade vs Paragon
I can kind of guess what Bioware were going with this but in execution it didn't turn out so well. Some mods have tried to fix this with Renegade Shepard sacrificing aliens to put humans first while Paragon is we're all in this together but again, story wise it doesn't turn out so good.
Works better in Dawn of the Reapers mod for Sins:Rebellion anyway.
Repetitive Romance Structure.
Can see you're grasping for straws. What would have been good is a Lair of the Shadow Broker sized DLC where you get to bring different characters through and spend time with them. Like acting as bait at an amusement park before it gets hijacked by Cerberus or something. Kind of what Citadel was but too little to late.
The Gay.
So, glossing over the fact that Liara is an option for Femshep in 1, there's not enough of it for you. One look at nexusmods shows otherwise, as gay mods for Femshep and Ashley and Kaiden and Male shep exist for Me1, and continuing that through ME2 and 3. How? Unused dialog files that Bioware scrapped but kept in the game data. There are assorted gay mods for ME2 and 3 as well, so you're argument is invalid.
I also want to point out Liara again because I can't say no to that big blue ass.
Punching a Reporter
I've had enough of your snide insinuations HIT
I've had enough of your discourteus assertions. HIT
I've had enough of you prolonging this joke because this person was looking for 5 points and came up with 3 max. HIT
The Ending
How Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will be received is, ultimately, up to the fans.
Considering that the Happy Ending mod exists, considering I do a yearly play-through of ME with that enabled since 2015, considering that Fans basincally saved and redeemed ME3 by adding much needed fluff and missions through mods, I'd say legendary is gonna flop if they don't change that ending.
We'll see. A small detail that I can use to gauge if it's good, a canary in the coalmine so to speak, is if they change the Asari from a mono-gender to whatever culture-approved gender is in fashion this week. If they change it so that Asari arn't all biologically female and go through the "Maiden, Matron, Matriarch" steps of their lives, then I'll know it's not worth my time. If they also change it, it'll line up with what they were trying to push with Andromeda and that is definitely out.
Allegedly they've been pushed out of 109 countries over the past few thousand years. The idea that they'd subvert themselves out of their own created state and make it 110 is just too funny.
Arguing Red vs Blue to the point of gunfights.
Modern political discourse in a nutshell.
It's more comparing Kiwami to 0.
Compare to Kiwami 2
If you go from 0 to Kiwami, you will notice how much they gutted in terms of side activites and what Kiryu can do, if you go from Kiwami to 2, you also notice how much they added back in with the new engine.
