Theory: Hanukkah is a sacrificial holiday. Jews don't want gentiles shitting all over the major holidays the way Christmas has been shat on for Christians, so they offered up Hanukkah. Keeps Hallmark well away from Yom Kippur.

Carbon positive it is, then.

Mistrial with prejudice also precludes retrial.

The first one plays the game of conflating Feds hiring people for real jobs (e.g. Los Alamos National Laboratories) with welfare.

It's blurry, dark, and there's stuff in the way. Like you said, can't see shit before the chase.

You also seem to see something similar with vaccinations. Months ago you could see low vaccination vs high vaccination states fairly distinctly based on coof cases now the low vaccination states have cases dropping off while high vaccination states are not (at least in the East, in the West ever state is still dropping off). So again even the vaccine seems to just delay the inevitable.

I don't think it's even that. The low vaccination states with high summer COVID rates were in the south. The Pacific Northwest and parts of California with high vaccination rates got hit, and Florida was also hit very badly despite an intermediate vaccination rate. In the US, it's seasonality/geography, not vaccination. If you can find a county animation you can actually see a COVID wave heading south to north along the Appalachians -- now it's headed out from them and hitting the Northeast and Midwest. In Europe the general direction of spread is northeast to southwest.

Sweden's lack of cases may indeed be due to prior infection, though; it doesn't fit the geographic pattern.

And raping keeps fertility up, which is why there are Viking descendants everywhere there were Viking raids.

Having the Arabs and the Palestinians trying to kill them all the time keeps their men's T high.

This is bullshit. Israel was an outlier before the vaccine; Israel is about the only wealthy country with high fertility. In their corrected graph, there's no vaccine effect at all.

These personal anecdotes from random nurses and other health-care officials always turn out to be bullshit. Most of the time (and almost certainly this one) it's a narcissist trying to get their name in lights. A few times it's been people who just don't understand what's normal (e.g. new nurses who don't realize hospital chaos isn't COVID, it's always that way, or one nurse literally from Peoria who traveled to Harlem during the pandemic... uh, yeah, big city hospitals are a bit different)

Inflation is good if you have a lot of debt though.

Yeah. Sure. My guess is these machines were (perhaps part of) the contingency plan if Murphy looked like he was losing. If Jack were ahead at the end of the day, dump those "votes" (from Democratic areas) in to push Murphy back over the top. Someone screwed up and they became known even though they weren't being used.

Of course, there's also the possibility that there were other such "votes" that were added to the total, but sadly it's possible Murphy won for real.
