10 seconds in and already there's a problem with the premise of the video.

"The leaders" of New York City didn't make the city safe and prosperous, Rudy Giuliani did. One person, singular, made New York City the shining beacon of the US. The city immediately started back downhill once he was out of office, being kept on life support by stop and frisk. Obviously, I'm not trying to discount the efforts of Giuliani's staff, but none of those people would have been in position to fix the city had it not been for Giuliani himself.

No, I'm not a Trump person. More of a Reagan republican.

Its actually kind of sad this dumbass thought that this statement had a chance in hell of calming the mob.

If Trump is Hitler, Reagan is literal Satan.

The rioters are going to use him as a martyr

Good. Anyone stupid enough to get worked up over this scum's death so that they too feel the need to go kill a Trump supporters also deserves two in the chest and one in the head.

EDIT: I'm not advocating for violence BTW. I'm advising people to take absolutely no chances when it comes to defending your life.

If that's true, that would be an exceptionally stupid move by China. Belarus is tied to Russia in a similar manner as Puerto Rico is tied to the US. Every aspect of the Belorussian economy relies on Russia. Belarus has almost nothing to do with the rest of Europe.

And just like that, at the snap of a finger, an entire generation of Californians are made permanently unemployable.

From my admittedly relatively uneducated perspective as someone on the outside:

Lukashenko is (or was) another one of Putin's guard dogs, like Kadyrov in Chechnya. His government operated at Putin's pleasure. Recently Putin has seemed to cut him loose and left him completely without support. Why Putin would do such a thing is unclear, though it might be COVID related. I imagine COVID is running rampant through Russia, as they closed their borders VERY late into the pandemic and their quarantine measures were very spotty or non-existent. Anyway, if Lukashenko still had Putin's support, these demonstrations would have been slapped down before they even got started.

I think it stands to reason that whoever replaces Lukashenko isn't going to be gaining office by any measure of merit. Belarus is a client state of Russia, and no one is going to rule that state without Putin's approval, as Russia in general is very aggressive in defending their own sphere of influence, small though it may be, and a simple change in leadership isn't going to change their client state status, which means the status quo for Belarus won't change, no matter who the leader ends up being.

I've lived in Texas my whole life and I've met, and known rednecks who were functionally illiterate that can write better than this.

No, that's not what it means. This statement doesn't mean that the police/prosecutor version of events is the objective truth. It just means that this is the version of events that are being served as the basis by which they are trying to charge Rittenhouse, which they have to prove in court should they want and charges to stick.

I went to a gun store today searching in vain for a place that would let me order a specific shotgun and right on the front door of the place there was a big sign talking shit about our mayor decreeing that everyone must where a mask. Twas pretty funny.

The mainstream media seems to be claiming that the shooting was the result of Trump sending in supporters into downtown Portland in order to create chaos, with them bringing weapons and starting fights.

Even if that were true, so what? In effect its just copying what Antifa already does with how they bus people in from across the country.

stanzololthrowaway 6 points ago +6 / -0

Its starting to look like the earlier claims of the shooter being black is false. Everything I've seen make it looks like he's white.

Regardless, it looks like Civil War 2.0 has officially begun. Score is currently 2-1.

Winconsin was already red you dumbfuck NYT writer. Wisconsin was one of the main reasons why Trump won in 2016. Voters aren't being swayed, they are being convinced their 2016 choice was correct.

Whats hilarious is that they barely even have the blocking out of level geometry done. This indicates to me that this is yet another Anthem situation. If this is all they have done a year and a half after Anthem released, then they for sure already canned an earlier build.

A tail only helps you if you walk on four legs. It does absolute nothing for anything that walks even a minority of the time on two legs.

Wonder how much damage a brain will sustain when it smashes against the inside of a full titanium replacement skull vs. a normal skull.

Audie Murphy, aka the most famous US soldier of WWII, falsified his birthday so that he could join the Army. He was too young to join otherwise. WWII is absolutely jam packed with stories about kids lying about their age to join the military to get revenge on the "Japs".

That being said, I will by no means ever try to compare the kids of then to the kids of now. All the kids back then had to grow up really fuckin' fast because all their families were dirt poor and they all had to go to work to support their families. People these days are eternal children by comparison.

He knew what he could get into when he brought that gun

I am by no means excusing his actions, but teenagers aren't known for their ability to think ahead. Besides, if what I'm reading about him is true, he was explicitly on the side of the rioters.

There are two possibilities here for things that were going through his head as far as I can see. One is that he never in a million years thought that there was a possibility he'd have to shoot people on his own side, neglecting to take into account his own skin color. Two is that he thought that in the event that the rioters came to burn down the property he was protecting, the mere sight of someone with a gun would scare the rioters away.

I'm 100% with you. The leftists and BLM Marxists are essentially using the Dem cities as a relatively safe training ground, building up their tactics knowledge and endurance for when they eventually push out into the rest of the country. The longer Republicans and other sane people wait to slap this insurrection down, the more people the Marxists will forcibly recruit into their cause, and the harder it will be to dislodge them.

I'm not so sure it's gonna be glorious. If Trump wins, what we've seen so far will look like a picnic.

IDK if its true, but I kept hearing reports that the cops already tried tasing the dude, and it had no effect, likely a faulty unit.

I've seen everywhere that he was 17 years old. If that's true, then he's kinda fucked, as the legal age to use a firearm without supervision in Wisconsin is 18.
