A lot of us are past that. We've instead asked ourselves "What is America?". Some decide it's defined by history, and others decide it's defined by dreams of the future. Objectively, America has been an intensely racist and sexist country, historically. To me, the real question is, "Was it reasonable?".
For example when i as a female argue with them, they still try to use the same talking points and arguments that only make any "sense" as if they were arguing with a guy but dont make any sense with me.
Sounds like arguing with holes, to me.
So, you found yourself arguing with holes?
It can be frustrating. Even guys are arguing with holes by proxy these days.
Try to argue racial criminal disparities. The dogma of "systemicism" is an impregnatable wall they're incapable of seeing beyond.
Since your sex is actually relevant to your point, I can forgo tits or GTFO.
the elements of the left-wing platform I agreed with are generally also shared by the Dissident Right and/or the paleocons, with the added benefit they generally aren't trying to push for degeneracy or dependency on a giant welfare state

Yeah, BLM is where race really entered the national conversation. Most of us were willing to ignore race, because (a we were programmed to, (b because we appreciated individualism over collectivism as a basic American principle, and (c we either didn't know or didn't care about disproportionate violence among blacks, because it was a black problem.
Then, black people started getting mad that they were disproportionately shot by police, which drew attention to them. A terrible mistake. It was an open secret that was best ignored.
Obama saying Trayvon looked like his kid was just fuel on the fire.
Here's 0hedge's article on it
Nah. Commies and technocrats ask what "what can my country do for me?". Fascists ask "what can I do for my country?". Libertarians ask "what can I do?", and will natural gravitate to the extreme that moderates the center, since both extremes will limit that.
Put's you in a real shit position. I'm sorry for that. Judging by your name, the 80s and 90s were formative for both of us. Racism seemed a marginal thing, and I thought we'd about left it behind. Seems a hemorrhoid that just won't go away, though.
Whites are inherently empathetic and altruistic. The same things that spurned on ideals of liberty and equality, and the abolishment of slavery, make them susceptible to plays on their idealism. We're great at building high trust societies, but that inbuilt high trust is extremely exploitable. By asians.
