I mean, having read it, I think she actually is all those things… It’s just that she is also a Muslim, and chooses to emphasize that to a rather unnecessary degree…

I’m pretty sure most of the shit she claims that her “Islamophobic” acquaintances say is either highly exaggerated, or at least much rarer than she claims in that article…

Bet you she marries/is married to a brown dude, though. She honestly seems like she would do that just to make a point, and emphasize her “difference”…

While my beliefs and opinions on this sort of thing may have “evolved” somewhat, over time, I have always felt that people, especially women, like her mother (a white, blonde, Catholic American) who convert to Islam, are damn traitors

And that applies regardless of whether they are American, or Australian, or Swedish, or French, or really anything else “Western”…

If you grow up in a Western country, in a non-Muslim environment and family, and you decide to betray all that, to convert to a religion, philosophy and “way of life” that actively hates the society and country you were born into..? Well I think that makes you as close to a “race traitor” as we might like to define that term…

Fucking liberals…

To be fair, I would personally mostly describe them as "hillbillies", which I don't feel is that derogatory (as Soctatic pointed out), and is fairly accurate to describe this subculture, I feel, however the people I was quoting definitely intended it to be derogatory, so...

shrug

Yeah, Stockholm suburbs are unironically some of the bleakest places I've ever seen, hahaha...

How did anyone think that taking somewhere already awful like Skarpnack or Rinkeby, and shoving them full of poorly integrated immigrants, would end at all "well"..?

I don't mind Gothenburg so much, though. Malmo was just... Meh. Didn't really see so much crime. It just felt quiet and ugly (except the old parts of the city) and boring, lol...

I haven't been north of Vastmanland yet, though, so maybe I haven't seen the really depressing rural parts yet, but yeah, I can see why you guys have a drinking problem, ahahahaha...

All that repressed emotion isn't good for anyone, imho.

Haha I mean, I tried doing the "Suedi" thing for a little while, but then I realized that the less fucks I gave about "conforming" or playing into the weird social expectations here, the more people would gravitate to me, tbh... Especially the women. Because dear lord there are a lot of cowardly men, here...

"Stare at the ground and never make direct eye contact. Never let the other person think you have a stronger handshake than them." - Yeah, that ain't me, lol...

But yeah, I think her whole thing is taking the piss, as it were, judging by articles such as this one (about the songwriter, and the identity of the singer herself): https://archive.is/6HaUl

That is what they don't like, vis a vis the pink barbie plastic horse schtick. Because, shock horror, someone might be "offended", and we can't have that in our precious Sweden, oh no...

For balance, this is one of her main Mello rivals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAQXyG1QK60

I also saw that one live. Man was it cringe. Linkin Park for Generation Alpha, let's say. Complete with an aesthetic straight out of Metal Gear Solid or something (yes, really)...

It was bizarre. But much more popular than Snusk-girl, lol...

Where I was living for a while (out rural way), there was an "EPA-raggar" or whatever who would drive around in his ute/pickup with a Christmas tree on the back, full lights on it and all, at all times of the day through most of December... That was quite wholesome, I felt.

The Swedes I was staying with hated it, though, haha...

bamboozler1 9 points ago +9 / -0

For context, this is the girl: https://archive.is/akfis

This is Raggare (it's a subculture here, which I had no idea about, before I arrived): https://archive.is/KHYNQ

And this is the music genre: https://archive.is/2p94T

I know some raggare. Yeah, some of them are dickheads, but some (adult, rural ones, at least) have been among the nicer people I have met in this miserable, wet, bizarrely conformist country...

Also, for full disclosure, I was at that performance, in the video. I got dragged to Mello (the contest from which Sweden selects its Eurovision entry for the year), by a girl I am currently seeing here...

It's mostly pretty banal and "meh", tbh. It looks much more interesting on tv, for the most part (which is what it is made for, after all!). Fröken Snusk (her name, also a reference to snus, which are the disgusting tobacco mouth pillows that are ridiculously popular here) was the only one to bother putting any actual energy or "fun" into her performance rather than "men bad, world scary and bad" lol, so no wonder the moral prudes of this country hated it so much, lololol...

Sweden is odd. Let's just say that much...

(Currently) Live in Sweden. Can absolutely confirm…

Also Norway and Denmark, to a significantly lesser extent

But I can hardly imagine anywhere being more cucked than Sweden in this regard…

There’s fucking Somalis everywhere, to the point where a month ago I had one threaten and spit on me, in broad daylight, because I was taking a photo of a fucking public Christmas tree (i.e. a big one put up by the municipality), in his presence…

He bizarrely accused me of being “a spy”, and taking photos of his neighborhood to “send to his enemies”.

And then he spat on me and threatened to kill me, until his friend pulled him away. Which resulted in him then assaulting his friend instead of me…

Quality human beings all round. Totally the sorts of immigrants we should be importing to Europe. Totally…

Context: https://archive.is/iOnd1

From a masthead that is owned by the same media org...

I mean, they made the dumb bitch ever so slightly more attractive, I guess..? It's barely noticeable, and pretty rich for a fucking former stripper, who shouldn't be in parliament at all anyway, and who deliberately chose to wear that outfit to the photoshoot in the first place, to be complaining about this...

SMDH, only in the Socialist Republic of Victoria, naturally...

I hate this timeline.

On a more personal note, this is happening because Ripcurl was bought out by Kathmandu, before introducing these new “DEI initiatives”... Kathmandu is a company founded by lesbian and convicted fraudster Jan Cameron (from NZ), who, I might add, is 50% personally responsible (along with a guy called Graeme Wood) for destroying the timber industry in a large part of my home state, which caused a town/region I have friends in to go bankrupt and essentially lose all its jobs, which in turn allowed hipster city scum (from Melbourne and Sydney) to buy up the cheap housing, and turn the former industrial centre into their own woke “arts and events hub, where ironically now no working-class person can afford to live or even go to their damn events (they were incredibly vindictive during the CoVax period, too, I would add)…

So yeah, Kathmandu is fucking evil, in my book, and I will never buy shit from them, or Ripcurl, or any other subsidiary ever again, even before this bullshit…

This is unironically what class war looks like, in the Antipodes…

Just thought that might be useful context.

I think it’s worth noting that a) Bethany Hamilton shows a “disabled” person overcoming her difficulty, with fuck-all outside help or patronizing, which leftists hate, and b) is seemingly happily married and has a bunch of small, white, blonde children. So yeah, I guess on the Oppression Pyramid, having had your arm bitten off by a fucking shark is now of less importance than “believing you are the other gender”/trans, while putting zero effort into actually physically transitioning or “passing”…

What a fucking timeline we live in. This is definitely a humiliation ritual at this point, methinks…

Random related movie recommendation: The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (French, 1960s).

It’s partly about a gold-digger who sort of “marries up”, after something dramatic happens to her true love, changes her entire appearance and life, and, well, the consequences of that…

It is not a happy ending type of film…

But it is also Catherine Deneuve’s first film, who subsequently, very ironically, also fucked up her face and body in an attempt to “stay youthful”, in what has to be one of the more surreal moments of “life imitating art…

But man, she was gorgeous in that one. Which is a bit sad…

Oh, and it’s probably one of the best French films ever made. Forgot to say that bit!

On this note, I was once at Supanova, and saw the line for Millie Bobby Brown before she became… What she is now. But I wasn’t that big of a Stranger Things fan, and she was like… 14? So I didn’t bother paying for the autograph/meet and greet, even though the line wasn’t very big (probably because other people had similar thoughts to me, about it, lol)…

Kind of regret that now, seeing as she’s become the bizarre (also entirely fake and manufactured) “icon of pop culture”/“it kid” that she is now…

Poor kid, honestly.

That’s another one I see imploding, a few years down the line, when her star fades… Her and Maddie Ziegler…

Someone commented that the only future acting roles she can likely look forward to would be in porn, which I thought was utterly brutal, but… Yeah.

Perhaps a better example would be to go the Tara Reid (also gorgeous, before she fucked herself up) route, i.e. advertising in foreign countries, B movies, “celebrity” reality tv, and the convention circuit (Erin already does the latter. I could have met her at one in Stockholm in November, but I didn’t know then)…

Apparently Tara Reid is so obscure now, that often her line at those cons is virtually empty, which is frankly just… Sad, given how big she was a couple of decades ago…

Honestly, it’s not that much more dignified than the porn alternative, at this point… :-/

Yeesh.

FWIW, totally irrelevant to the Moriarty thing, but there’s currently a “Keep Cash” singing protest in the middle of Copenhagen, where people are trying to make a point about preventing Denmark from becoming even more “cashless” than it already is, so that’s… Good I guess? Restores my faith in humanity just a tiny little bit. At least temporarily, anyway…

She does, unironically, look increasingly like a drag queen, in those recent photos…

I would say she has been trending that way for at least a year.

Same with Lauren Sanchez (yuck!), and indeed Anya Taylor-Joy…

So while I do believe that all of them are biologically female, you may be onto something here…

Someone did comment that Erin’s new face does look like what Ellen Page might look like if she/he/it “detransitioned” back to female, at this point, lol…

It’s saaaadddd…

bamboozler1 7 points ago +7 / -0

Eh, I just don’t really want to talk about me, or my situation, at the moment (it unironically got worse after I posted this, lol), so this was a “good” distraction… 🤷🏻‍♂️

In the scheme of things, I would rather discuss “pop culture” or whatever we consider Moriarty’s face to be, than just how shit Scandinavia has been to me, lol…

15
bamboozler1 15 points ago +15 / -0

Buccal fat removal (the thing which seems to have most aged Miss Moriarty’s appearance) doesn’t seem to be quite as widespread there, either… Or those hideous lip fillers…

How those two things became a trend is beyond me…

Sweden is awful for girls having the fillers done. And they look like shit, inevitably, too, lol.

Jutland I didn’t see that so much. Which is something, I guess…

Oh, it’s just that I have been, and am, in “survival mode”, so I haven’t really had much time for anything much “superfluous”…

I’m currently “living”/travelling in incredibly expensive Northern Europe, surviving off savings, because I cannot work on my visa, and I also quit the program I was doing (so I have another 5 weeks until I have to leave Schengen, although I doubt I can afford to stay that long anyway)…

I also don’t have long-term accommodation anymore, because that was conditional on my staying in “the program” that I was part of. Thus, I’m essentially living day to day. It’s incredibly stressful, and exhausting, and, combined with all the social problems you already know about in this part of the world (I’ve met a lot of fucking arseholes. Especially in Denmark, unfortunately, it’s…

It’s just been a very stressful time. 😑

I don’t miss Australia, but I also literally can’t continue like this, so…

I just spend a lot of time muddling through it, unfortunately…

Re Sweden, I’ve just… Always been interested in this place, and its culture (not the woke shit), and some things that only really exist in this part of the world. Hence what I do on weekends (travel, and see it).

I also have two Swedish exes (from living in Aus), so while I don’t have any desire to see them, specifically, there’s some “adjacency of values/interests” there, too…

It’s just an adventure. But it’s not worth being utterly suffocated in this cult, just for the potential of that adventure…

Seriously, I know it sounds absurd, but the information I was given made it sound like I would at least have the freedom to experience this country in my free time, and that we could easily travel around, and perhaps even go work on the weekends (like you normally can, as a student).

I assure you, the realities of this place are extremely well-hidden, on the internet.

I know better now, and I will never let this happen again. But, like any of these things, they really do hide the bad stuff very well, at least until you’re here and “trapped”.

Turns out this organization (the broader Steiner one) has enormous financial and legal resources behind it, to combat whistleblowers and the like. There’s people in this “community” whose full-time role it is to combat “unfair criticism” of Waldorf schools and the like.

That should tell you a lot. And now I know that too.

An enormous amount of money for me

Like, I effectively put aside a year’s worth of savings for this stupid bullshit, and to have as a “buffer”.

Now that “buffer” is mostly going to be put towards getting the fuck out of here, and trying to escape legally and financially as unscathed as possible. That is what I meant.

The price of a decent second-hand car. Let’s go with that.

Two of the church ladies (the only friendly ones) did eventually invite me to their amateur theatre performance, this last weekend…

That somehow then fell through (on their end), but still, they obviously thought I was ok.

So I got through, to at least them, but man, believe me when I say… It was an uncomfortable vibe, in that building…

But if you know the Steiner shit, it’s not exactly mainline Christianity anyway, so… Yeah.
