I admit that I did chuckle when Imp would regularly get accused of being an F2M tranny, lol…

Which, honestly, given some of the things he said/questions he refused to address, may well have been a possibility!

So yeah, I miss that too, honestly. Much though it surprises even me to say that.

It’s calling identity politics stupid. As in Stupid-IdPol. That’s the general idea.

They generally talk about a lot of the same stuff we do. I would say there’s about a 60-70% overlap.

However they consider themselves Marxists, at least officially, so they’re coming at things from a slightly different angle…

It was my “pipeline” to ending up here. As in: there, then the original KIA2 sub, then here.

Though in general I would argue that this place has become more sane in that time, and they’ve become increasingly unhinged…

Oh man, you haven’t seen Stupidpol then…

It’s full of Russian shills, many of them quite a lot worse than most of what I saw from old mate Chuk, lol…

Which is unironically why I prefer it here, most of the time, among other things…

They really, really hate Ukraine over there.

That doesn’t load for me (on mobile)… 😑

Oh, I’m from Aus (and I’m back here now, regrettably). I was mostly just in Sweden (where there are heaps of Ukrainians), Denmark and Finland, so I could have said “Northern Europe”, but it’s more accurate to say “Central Europe” because clearly there’s more Ukes in like, Germany, Poland, etc., than where I was…

As for why I was there… I went to Sweden to study, ended up in a cult, managed to escape the cult, and then travelled around and lived “the Swedish lifestyle” for a bit.

I would have stayed, but my visa was contingent on my remaining in the study program which turned out to be a cult, so… Legally I had to leave Schengen basically when I did.

Agreed on all the rest. I think the main point of difference I noticed, though, would be between those women who grew up under collectivism, and those who were born after (or very late into) that. There’s a massive difference in behaviour, knowledge of the outside world, ability to speak English (obviously), etc...

Didn’t notice this as much with Poles, for whatever reason, but for former USSR countries, it’s very apparent…

Oh, that took me… Several takes (appropriately) to understand, lol.

Genuinely didn’t know that existed, so thanks, I think!

This is like that Duck + Lemonade Stand video, where you can never get it out of your head from now on, isn’t it..? 😑

At this point, if you go to pretty much anywhere in Central Europe, you're almost bound to meet a Ukrainian woman. Even rural areas...

Which is... Interesting. My experience of that varied from "Hey, you're cool," to "Holy shit, you're totally fucking insane. I'm going to get the fuck away as soon as I can."

Generally the older ones were more crazy. Though the exact same applies to the Russian women I met, there, too...

Can I imagine that the sudden import of literally millions of women and children, many of whom may never see family members again, would have a destabilizing influence on somewhere like Poland or Germany, where the majority are..? Without question yes.

On that point, a Russian guy stabbed two Ukrainian soldiers (on leave) to death, in a shopping mall in Southern Germany, on the weekend, after a drunken argument, so while that's not exactly the same, it's definitely already having an impact...

As I said somewhere else, while that's true, you should see some of the ethnic "enclaves" in Australian cities. Especially Burwood...

They're very much the same deal. Some parts of Sweden (the Muslim-majority bits) felt like this, too...

I guess with Uman, at least they can argue that they have "history" there... But really, this is what happens when you let any one "foreign" ethnic or religious group take over an area.

9
bamboozler1 9 points ago +9 / -0

Much though I don't like this, it's not that unusual (apparently the Jewish Quarter in Uman has been like this for quite some time) - Burwood in Sydney (Chinese) - you'll struggle to find a single shop sign or newspaper in English. Or Harris Park (Indian), also in Sydney. Or Moorooka in Brisbane (African). Or Sunshine (African) and Footscray (Chinese) in Melbourne.

The point being... Ghettoes are bad, regardless of the group that forms said ghetto/enclave.

This is most definitely not only a Ukraine thing...

On the Jewish point, however... You should see how segregated the Orthodox Jewish communities in Melbourne and Sydney are. They pretty much do their own policing, at this point, and when shit goes bad (cough Maika Leifer cough) they just flee to Israel to escape prosecution...

So yeah.

Well she is American, lol…

But honestly, I have no idea.

I think our politicians and bureaucrats are generally among some of the… More highly-remunerated in the developed world, but I admit that it is still very unusual…

Everything about the “eSafety commissioner” and indeed Julie Inman-Grant’s whole career, is… Unusual.

There’s being “well-connected”, and there’s failing upwards, and then there’s her.

Like that Harvard president, but with much more power and (probably) money, lol.

bamboozler1 4 points ago +4 / -0

What’s the DOT COM bit, pray tell, lol?

22
bamboozler1 22 points ago +22 / -0

Yup. Particularly alarming when you consider that the "eSafety Commissioner" is essentially the whim of one person (Julie Inman-Grant), so I'm sure part of the intention there is to shield her from criticism, herself...

Can't protest the government-appointed chief janny if you're not allowed to "pile on" the chief janny. taps head

It's very on brand for Aus that this woman gets paid nearly half a million dollarydoos a year, and regularly* attends Davos, and this is the first such specially-created "position" in the world. Odd, but definitely "on brand"...

Can you? I was under the impression that they were the same virus, but not the same… Severity at least.

Why then is genital herpes so much harder to treat and recover from..?

As I said, I knew they were the same virus, but I didn’t think it was quite that simple…

bamboozler1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lol, what are the three games (apart from Crash) referenced here, out of interest..?

I don’t really care about half-naked dude (bottom panel), but I don’t recognize the other two either, so…

I’m interested to know, actual gamers! Because I’m not much of one, ha.

But also, seeing as most of what they do “naturally” (i.e. without added equipment) is oral, just imagine the horrific STDs that might come along with that, lol…

Like, say your partner is bisexual, so she picks up one of the… Less pleasant stds, and then the only way you can get her off is to go down on her… 🤷🏻‍♂️

“Genital herpes but oral” sounds particularly nasty, to me, lol…

bamboozler1 2 points ago +2 / -0

In this case, it seems to have given her a more masculine jawline (which seems to be a thing that these women are getting done), which is… Amusing.

“Lose pretty smile, gain masculine jawline,” seems like an odd devil’s bargain to make, but she’s definitely not alone in that one…

Also veneers. Veneers (as this woman has, now) are awful, and unless you really need them (like, because you have an actual medical problem/developmental defect), they almost always look worse.

Erin Moriarty, Natalie Alyn Lynd, even bloody Richard Hammond

That is another trend that just needs to die.

Notice how Lucie can’t even smile properly anymore?

Yeah, that. Combined with the thousand cock stare, of course…

On your second point, I really don’t think most of the surgeons doing this sort of butchery are the same ones doing regular reconstructive surgery, as in your example…

They’re different specializations…

Is there some crossover (in terms of breast reconstruction and implants)..? Sure. But it’s very rarely the same surgeons, or indeed the same practice…

You go to a cosmetic surgeon because you want to change how you look.

You go to a specialist plastic/reconstructive surgeon to fix something after a medical problem.

Hell, even I have been to a plastic surgeon, after having a potential skin cancer removed.

I don’t view them as being the same.

She’s 33.

The brown-haired one (top right) is maybe… 5 years ago?

The other two are obviously much more recent.

Her Wikipedia photo is from the year she did Eurovision (2017), which is how I remember her looking…

So yeah, I guess we can argue that she hit the wall at like, 30, but I think it’s more that she went from “singer and talent show contestant” to “singer, musical theatre actress and model”, lol…

Perhaps unsurprising, therefore, that she ruined herself like this…

But still sad.

I would argue that, when it comes to Disney, Universal and WB, people, at least some people, go for the express purpose of meeting the dressed-up staff…

As an adult, I find that quite odd, and it’s partly why I found Universal Studios a bit disappointing (the rides sucked, lol), but clearly some people go for expressly that reason, especially families with children, as here…

In that same Universal Experience, if the Lucille Ball impersonator that came up to us while we were having lunch was a drag queen, I would definitely have freaked the fuck out, lol…

This would essentially be the end of human fertility, lol...

Which I suppose is what they want, unfortunately.

Obviously much darker than the incident in question (and I don't see anything wrong with what JoK did, here, at all), but this is essentially the narrative that this weirdo is going for, lol:

(Don't Stand so Close to Me by The Police - pretty dark song for a former teacher to write, to say the least...)

OG link so you can watch the video (which the article is mostly a transcript of):

https://www.skynews.com.au/insights-and-analysis/labors-intrusive-digital-id-bill-paves-the-way-for-a-social-credit-dystopia-and-time-is-running-out-to-stop-it-from-becoming-law/news-story/7e3984bc1ad188e64ec2af968bf52b93

I note that they, as always, initially claim that this is "voluntary", but then, from personal experience, I've just tried to sort out some financial matters with the Tax Office only to be told that I can't even access my record without this shit.

So there you go. So much for "voluntary". Of course the normies just eat it up.

(Almost) Everyone has to pay tax, of course. So you'd think there would be more pushback. But nope, not in this country of (mostly) apathetic, extremely rule-abiding cowards, lol...

What a fucking nightmare.

I saw the end result of these policies in Scandinavia (a complete digital record of every individual, generally publicly-accessible, including everything from home address to phone numbers to job and marital status) and I really, really don't want to see that repeated here...
