Can you? I was under the impression that they were the same virus, but not the same… Severity at least.

Why then is genital herpes so much harder to treat and recover from..?

As I said, I knew they were the same virus, but I didn’t think it was quite that simple…

I’m not sure it is actually (I do not have herpes or any other std lol) but I imagine because genital tissue is different/ more delicate than lip/face skin.
