I know you get paid by the post or something but at some point I'd imagine your handlers would realize posting this bullshit here is just a bad investment. You aren't going to change anyone's mind, especially with the tone and choice of words you keep using.
Keep on posting, though. We can't wait for this to be over so we can watch you go back to ranting about whites, white women in particular, again.
I considered myself libertarian since I was in high school, in the early 2000's. I hung out with leftist cliques like punks and what not. Everyone assumed I was a fellow lefty because I would say "I dislike the government." Since they weren't openly spewing socialist and commie bs I never felt like I needed to say much more about my beliefs. I had a very live and let live attitude. On the rare occasions I would talk about my views on gun control or mention I'm going to the range I'd get some odd looks but no one really said anything. It was a very different time.
Sometime during Obama's presidency things changed. People would react oddly at the things I had always said offhand. It became apparent I was not going along with the party line and I was an outsider. Saying I did not like the government suddenly became racist. "You don't like Obama because he is black?!" was the usual response.
So I did the typical Libertarian thing and just stopped talking. I should have known better. I didn't want to make waves and thought "live and let live, this will blow over." Then the whole gamergate thing.
I was pretty up to their noise by then. Only a few people actually mentioned it to me but seeing the response by media made me certain that this was a war. And then I'm reading Rules for Radicals and The Gulag Archipelago
It only got worse. I'm still a libertarian but I really don't like the way the national party went. I don't want to give TheImp ammo but things went bad after Jess Mears got on. She used to host national party calls, like actual party calls, with some great guests, but stopped that when she moved up north.
DLDR: Vote local, become ungovernable, dig holes.
Most of my ancestors were subsistence farmers who in 300 years never left the county they originally settled. Did they care about politics? Probably not, and they were better for it.
The same here and I absolutely agree. A citizen's role in politics, even when serving as a politician, was meant to be very limited. Or at the most localized. Federal reps convened for a short time then went back to their farms.
It makes total sense that carnies would turn up for this. One, it's pro their business. Two, business. Three, just looks like fun.
I'm waiting for the juggalos to show up. Some of the nicest people I've met but I am certain the media will paint (heh) them as a right-wing death cult or something.
They, Apple, charges $999 for a fucking monitor stand. And $200 for a VESA mount, you know, the type of mount that is pretty much standardized among every other company? 700 bucks for wheels for their shitty tower computer and $300 for just "feet".
And every time they pull this Apple fans rush to say it's okay because some convoluted mental gymnastics.
Fuck them. What could have been a cool tech company failed, hard.
Spez: to add This. Sorry for the link cancer
They called for recalls because they thought a lot of votes were fabricated. Note they did not do this in 2020.

So here is a pre-woke Wired article https://www.wired.com/1996/02/digitel/
I can't find the article I had in mind that goes in to their founding. Basically the EFF came about through a group of lawyers and DC lobbyists but couched themselves as hard core digital libertarians/anarchists. So a lot of those types (like myself) bought in to them because they sounded good on paper. Turns out they are heavily involved with current big tech and support Google, et all.
I don't know if this site is legit but there is this https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/electronic-frontier-foundation/
Finding out what the EFF was really about sucked. It was my fault for not looking in to them deeper when I decided to give them money. On the surface, though, it seemed like a great, upstanding organization. I now know the EFF was fucked from the beginning.
I'm still on their mailing list, and keep an eye on them, but they are never getting a cent from me again.
I still don't get this. People kept bringing it up like they were owed something. That incident had nothing to do with Tim, it was between the You Are Here crew and "Murphy". What would Tim talk about? Because, lets be real, if it's not a topic Tim can speak uninterrupted for five minutes at a time, what good is it to him (though he has gotten better with this)?
And swatting himself? Common, man.
You can toss some cash in an envelope along with your account number, leave off the return address, and mail it to Mullvad for payment, too.
If you've got a day or two to kill throw on a mask, fake beard (or shave your current beard), hitchhike to another state, and drop it off at some street side mailbox. Be sure to leave your phone at home.
