I had a very interesting development arc. I supported remaining in the EU at first, but became conflicted and didn't vote in the end. The Trump win redpilled me, but I was a fucking tradcuck. I'd hate myself if I met myself from back in 2017/2018. Theresa May's Coercive Control psychopathy made me an anti-feminist, and from there I just gradually developed a deeper and deeper distrust in our "better halves".
To be fair it should be the case that the overwhelming majority of the population are at liberty to be non-political. We are in the unfortunate situation where our elites hate ordinary people and wish to do us harm, which forces us to care about politics.
Most of my ancestors were subsistence farmers who in 300 years never left the county they originally settled. Did they care about politics? Probably not, and they were better for it.

The same here and I absolutely agree. A citizen's role in politics, even when serving as a politician, was meant to be very limited. Or at the most localized. Federal reps convened for a short time then went back to their farms.
