They already filmed s2, if Paramount's smart they'll cancel it and take the tax breaks.
Word is they're trying to pitch "Star Trek:Year One" a spinoff of SNW with Kirk/Spock as a prequel of TOS with the TOS crew's 1st year on the Enterprise. Kurtzman's contract expires this year, they have s4&5 of SNW filmed. Hopefully that's the end of Woke Trek.
That's admittedly not a high bar to clear.
While most modern (I mean TNG-VOY) Trek shows did struggle with their 1st seasons the idea that they were overall terrible is a recent reimagining not really based in fact.
Let's take a quick look at every 1st season of Trek:

TOS is the odd man out because many consider that the BEST season of the series.
The 1st ep "The Man Trap" is pretty good, as is the actual pilot "Where No Man Has Gone Before". You also have tons of classic eps like "The Menagerie", "Balance of Terror", "The Galileo Seven", "The Squire of Gothos", "Arena", "Space Seed", "The Devil in the Dark" & "The City on the Edge of Forever".

TNG is where this concept started because there was admittedly some bad shit in it with "Code of Honor" considered maybe the worst TNG ep ever...although a lot of that is because of modern "muh raycism" (it does absolutely suck irregardless of that). But it has 6-8 eps I'd consider range from "pretty good" to "really great".
"Encounter at Farpoint" is pretty good and establishes major characters well. "The Battle", "Hide And Q", "The Big Goodbye", "11001001", "The Arsenal of Freedom", "Conspiracy" & "The Neutral Zone" I consider pretty great. "Datalore" had some really cringe shit (The "shut up Wesley" scene is retarded but it also ruined Wil Wheaton's life so I give it a pass). There's a bunch of mid eps and a few stinkers- I think "The Last Outpost" & "Justice" gets unfairly shit on but other than Code & maybe Angel One & Symbiosis there's nothing really atrocious.

I haven't watched a lot of these in a long time DSN had good-great eps like "Emissary", "Captive Pursuit", "The Nagus", "Progress", "Duet" & "In the Hands of the Prophets".
"Move Along Home" was bad but gets targeted because of the out of context hopscotch by Woke Trek fans looking to attack the classic series. "The Storyteller" & "If Wishes Were Horses" were pretty bad too, people attack Q-Less but I think that's more because Q didn't have the chemistry with anyone like he did Picard & crew.

I actually just recently rewatched this although I had it on while cleaning etc so wasn't paying total attention.
For good-great you have "Caretaker", "Time and Again", "Phage", "Eye of the Needle", "Prime Factors" and "State of Flux".
For worst you have the Beowulf ep (which I don't think is as terrible as people remember honestly, it was mid-90s TV scifi) and "Ex Post Facto". I liked "Learning Curve" although some hate it and it doesn't stand out as a season finale. Honestly rewatching the show while there wasn't a whole lot of exciting stuff nothing was outright terrible and I haven't seen anything as bad as SA.

This is the one I've seen the least but for good-great you have "Broken Bow", "The Andorian Incident", "Cold Front", "Dear Doctor", "Shuttlepod One" & "Shockwave, Part I". I enjoyed "Acquisition" but some hate it because of potential canon issues.
For bad you have "Terra Nova", "Unexpected" (men can't get pregnant!!), "Silent Enemy", "Rogue Planet" but at least they felt like Star Trek. Again I didn't see anything in Enterprise, s1 or otherwise, that was nearly as bad as SA.
Discovery s1 sucked but so did s2 and every other season. Haven't watched any other modern Trek to comment but honestly I doubt any of them could be as bad as the "best" of SA.

Now she’s gossiping about her former friends behind the cover of anonymity. If the goal of the article is to actually prove the “misogynists” right then I have to say it’s profoundly effective.
The piece also cites Hannah Cox who was never conservative, much less a serous or intelligent person. And Ashley St Clair who recently came out as pro-trans just to spite Elon Musk. The whole premise is that conservative women are turning away from MAGA and yet they don’t mention a single conservative woman in the entire article. Amazing.

There are some people who identify as "right wing" who are definitely nasty to women and embrace a third-world mentality that would be better suited to Afghanistan, but they are mostly just trolls, not mainstream MAGA figures let alone elected officials. The name & concept is based off a great episode of TNG called "Lower Decks" that focused on lower ranked crew members. It had great things like Picard having a briefing with the senior staff that normally we always get to see but this time you stayed with the crew on the bridge wondering what was going on.
The concept for this show isn't bad but it shouldn't be treated as canon.
