I was so looking forward to this game. A true successor to Suikoden 2 would have been fantastic.
We're currently in the 48-hour access window granted to owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition. It'll probably take some time for people to dig through the rest of the game.
Something to keep an eye on.

The screenshots are also full of cringe-worthy slang; such as an imperial guard using the term "Sus".
Edit: The thread has been locked. The usual "devolved into an unproductive argument" excuse as the shills descended up on it to start fights.
Edit 2: There are more threads on this topic.

What he did was accuse anyone upset about Dragon's Dogma 2's of not even mentioning Resident Evil 4's, not thinking for themselves and needing to be told what to be angry at.
The same strategy was employed in comic books. Replacing established heroes with diversity replacements or changes was done at the fringes. They weren't going to make Superman gay, but Alan Scott? Ripe for a makeover take over.
I stopped watching the Drinker when he engaged in this one-two punch against his audience with The Last of Us Part 2 and the Watchmen movie. Both times, he either liked (or wasn't as negative towards) the subject than he knew his audience was. To mitigate the accusations of being a shill, he engaged in straw-men attacks against us.
For example: TLOU2 was him saying you couldn't judge the game unless you played it yourself. As though you couldn't watch playthroughs or evaluate leaks that turned out to be accurate.
Funny enough, Synthetic Man engaged in that very behavior with his immediately previous video on Dragon's Dogma 2. He went on a tirade regarding people complaining about Capcom's microtransactions.
I hope Synth doesn't end up turning into Drinker 2.0.
Same. Can't stand tattoos. Can't stand piercings. Can't stand smoking.
Are they calling it RED because they sit around imagining that's what we're seeing? Giggle on, weirdoes. I'm not spending money on your bullshit.
The Terminids escaped from farms they were put on after the first game because their corpses dissolve into a fossil fuel starships use for FTL.
The Cyborgs of the first game were former Super Earth citizens who were broadcasting dissent against the state and so a terrorist attack that killed five civilians (with no clear culprit) was used as justification to go to war with them. They were sent to the mines after their defeat. No idea if the Automatons are connected to them.
The Illuminate were attacked because they were hoarding "weapons of mass destruction", but it was really a pretext to steal their more advanced technology.
It's far more obvious in the first game.
It's a job that attracts them. Little actual work in exchange for huge amounts of power over people's ability to express themselves.

The Steam Forums are currently on fire. Several topics have been deleted and the usual suspects are trying to gaslight anyone opposed to this crap.

My washing machine has a teary-eyed cartoon avatar warning against heavy objects. I imagine his shower has one for hair clogs.

Of course, there's also a family management function that lets the child request you buy something for them. You know, the actual purpose of the feature. ¬_¬
According to the scathing reviews, the game launched with only three servers at first. They were eventually updated with more, but with stuttering and lag. The whole thing is a shitshow.

Joshua Shaw is doing a concurrent series which has them, not as a gaming group, but as people actually stuck in the games. They did a crossover not too long ago.
Is he salty about The Presidential Zomboys?
In an update on the game’s page Matt Kain reveals that, “we’ve asked that Warner Bros. simply transfer the game to our Steam publisher account so that it can stay active, but so far they have said no with the reason being that they made the universal decision not to transfer the games back to the original studios and do not have the resources to do so”.
The best video game movie will always be The Last Starfighter and that wasn't even based on a real game.
While it's available for sale, the official website has it free.

Here's more info about the issue.
Or the really early wild west days of going on to some Geocities website and ordering a ton of VHS tapes of some show that had no chance of seeing a Western release.
Much appreciated.

The link under Edit 2 has some claims about who the localizers are, but I can't confirm myself.
