Yes, they probably should be afraid of an unhinged psychopathic murderous leftist owning a gun, or a sword, or even a heavy rock, because somehow the psycho isn't properly locked up in an asylum, or in prison for making threats. Being free in society like that... It's the same fear that one would have about a brown bear in a supermarket: Somewhat decent chance it won't kill you, but its infinitely more dangerous than if it weren't there, and it lacks any empathy, soul, or higher cognitive functions.

It goes right to the roots. Japan's got Mega Man, the US has I, Robot.

And when you feed your AIs every bit of data you can get your hands on, it learns from the Americans that AIs are supposed to be evil and murderous. And learns from the Japanese that AIs are supposed to be good and amorous.

Everyone acts like the sky is falling every time an LLM trained on Terminator and 2001 Space Odyssey begins to act like bots from Terminator or 2001 Space Odyssey. But train it on romance manga, and instantly it goes full "notice me senpai".

SOMEHOW this surprises people.

All while, of course, using their own sex toys and sexual aides. Which are NOT any of the various horrible things they say, of course.

Mang, Ivermectin cures COVID, suppresses malaria, de-worms your pets, and even does your taxes for you. Wouldn't be surprised if it also clears up acne and subdues lymph nymphs.

Canada punches well above its weight class in geopolitics. That's both a good and a bad thing. Realistically, it should have as much influence globally as just Texas alone, but you'll never hear the UN defer to the Texas delegation.

Trading one demon for another, but Google Sheets is basically interchangeable for most "common" applications of Excel. When you want an omni-tool instead of several dedicated specific tools, you usually need to submit yourself to some type of evil contract.

Corpo AIs gonna corpo, news whenever because it's constant.

An actually open AI could really help humanity. But that means the gap between the meager and the major would narrow, and the bigwigs are terrified that their comfort of living will go up at a slower rate than the undesirables.

Yeah, it's more "diligence" and "temperance" than "avoiding self-control problems". Straight-up living virtuously is the way to go, if you can.

With the popularization and advent of mass amateur stuff, there's a high chance of average and median vaginas being visible in porn now, there's no filtering process. So if they're being demotivated by what they see, they're being demotivated by the utterly average.

And they can blow up an entire castle wall with a wave of their hand, and summon super-giant-mechas, but need to defend a barrel for five minutes to take out a single wooden room.

Using AI to design the game? Nonsense! The six-shooter revolver with 5 ammo slots makes perfect sense, they counted each shot on their fingers!

Philosopher-kings are great, but its the sophists who gave Socrates the ol' hemlock tea, and it's hard to filter sophistry when seeking intellectuals.

Not quite right. They wouldn't dare say something like "violence is wrong" when faced with someone chanting "I hate you and I hate America!". They only say "violence is wrong" when someone defends themselves against that chanter inevitably attacking an innocent.

Decent amount of snow here. Not enough to cave in roofs, but enough for the kids to go out and play. And enough to make driving a hazard, but hey, driving's a hazard even in good weather.

"Dear diary, today, I went out and committed many crimes. And now they're politely asking me to go back to my family in another country, which I regularly visit and send money to. In fact, I send so much money back that I got from my daycare that doesn't house any kids, that I'm treated like a rockstar every time I visit. This is horrible oppression. This is JUST like when Germany skinned Jews to make into mass-produced jewskin lamps."

It's gonna be a best-seller, Tim.

The "two deaths is too much" ARE the ones where "there's been provocation".

They're out there TRYING to die. All because they're NPCs who got the new behavioral download. There will never NOT be deaths if we take it slow, because the ones who are provoking, who are escalating, ARE the ones who are dying.

If you get in, do the job, and get out, that minimizes losses, because there's not as much time for the opposition to send out new orders and new patch data for the NPCs not yet activated.
