I don’t think that’s an entirely fair reading of George, he’s a big admirer of Tolkien and LOtR, he just said he’s more interested in the messier parts of history like politics. I don’t think he’s ever said that he’s superior to Tolkien, he’s just interested in different aspects of fantasy. I will agree that he’s a lazy, unfocused fuck who’s gotten increasingly high off of his own supply lately.
I liked him in the trial of the seven, that finally unfucked him a little bit for me. I still hate his look though, his actor would have been better as Baelor.
All three D&E graphic novels are excellent, I highly recommend them if you don’t care about the show being spoiled.

Everyone was sucking it off like it was the herald that tv was finally healing but I just thought it had so much retard shit shoveled into it. Like Peter Claffey is awesome in it but the stupid modern gub-gub bugman humor and th shitty casting of everyone else ruined it for me. Why did they turn Lyonel Baratheon into a even gayer Jack Sparrow? Why is a child actor talking about fisting? Why do I have to see diarrhea, giant cocks, and niggers in every episode? Why the fuck is the jousting at night? It’s like they wanted to make a shittier, more modern A Knight’s Tale .

I’m liking it quite a bit. It’s a combination of 7/8 and the 4 remake. Grace’s sections are more traditional RE just without fixed camera angles and Leon’s are almost pure action.
