As much as I dislike her sections, Grace being a stuttering girlfailure contrasts nicely with Leon's suave badass in Resident Evil Requiem.
Grace is the most realistic female protagonist in gaming history she just happens to be autistic which confuses the zombies.
No joke, autistic female characters is how you sell to men and boys. Sassy girl bosses are universally despised. But an ego-less autistic girl boss? Just look at 2B and Frieren.
I was thinking about getting that, is it any good? Does it play like classics, remake 2/3 or 4-5?
I’m liking it quite a bit. It’s a combination of 7/8 and the 4 remake. Grace’s sections are more traditional RE just without fixed camera angles and Leon’s are almost pure action.

Playing on casual and done about 75% judging by the amount of Racoon figures I shot by now (19/25). So far I am satisfied. I hope the final boss on highest difficulty wont be a massive middle finger like Nemesis was in RE3R.

It annoys me that writers slap a bow in a woman's arms like it would be any easier for them to wield than a sword. Anyone who has worked with a bow (not a modern one) knows how much upper body strength and endurance it takes to use effectively.
Yeah, real archers are identifiable by their remains, because it's a life-long commitment that literally reshapes your bones in a unique way.
And unlike the other reboot games which praise every aspect of Kratos "softening" and showing the chuds that "real masculinity is not toxic", every time this female character commits violence it will be portrayed as pure "empowerment".

It fills me with hatred that there are going to be SO many normies who unironically will repeat that last quoted section of your comment. I've already seen plenty of them say that very same thing for every ridiculous girlboss action movie (Prey, being one that a large majority of normies don't see a problem with).
In many ways, if the next gilrboss God of War game is successful, and many nornmies defend her gilrboss lesbian misandry, it will show that woke is not only alive and well, but that it's working better than many of us would like to admit.
If they leave her a pale ginger I'll still count it as a minor win. I'm guessing she's going to get the Alloy uglification treatment, though.
Making her hot is the only way this could pay off for them.

It’s honestly hilarious to see so many game franchises just crash and burn like this. I can’t wait til the entire development team gets laid off and the studio goes bankrupt.
