Am I the only person who just wasn’t crazy about Season 1? Everyone was sucking it off like it was the herald that tv was finally healing but I just thought it had so much retard shit shoveled into it. Like Peter Claffey is awesome in it but the stupid modern gub-gub bugman humor and th shitty casting of everyone else ruined it for me. Why did they turn Lyonel Baratheon into a even gayer Jack Sparrow? Why is a child actor talking about fisting? Why do I have to see diarrhea, giant cocks, and niggers in every episode? Why the fuck is the jousting at night? It’s like they wanted to make a shittier, more modern A Knight’s Tale .
Maybe it’s my fault for reading the Graphic Novel first? That was top-tier. Anyway autistic rant over.
You probably aren't the only one. I enjoyed it. Lyonel is a little faeish at first but I enjoyed him. I know the tone of the tv show was supposed to be more light-hearted than the novellas they are adapted from.
I liked him in the trial of the seven, that finally unfucked him a little bit for me. I still hate his look though, his actor would have been better as Baelor.
