She sounded so defeated in this video, though. We might never know what pushed her to this point, or if it was just one thing instead of her just finally looking at the situation and making this choice.

I have not had the ability to keep up with Vtubers, but I have to say that this situation, if it's true, has bought to mind some claims about Nijisanji's decline in quality as a company, which I feel could be seen as a sign of VTubers as a whole dying as a trend. I can understand it's not necessarily a situation that shows internal rot, but if it is, then there is something that shows problems.

Just to ask, is manual digital art on top of AI (or just manual digital art in general) allowed for this competition?

It would be even cooler if this was traditionally animated. If it was, I would be paying to see this film in theatres.

It reminds me of some widely hated anime (Tesla Note, EX-ARM) that tried to do 3D models on 2D backgrounds. Both of those anime are among some of the most hated anime ever.

No, I have not. Maybe it's just me and the fact that I tend to be really selective about what I will watch or play, but almost all these shows are new names to me or things I have little interest in.

There's tons of old shows out there, and I can hardly imagine that there are tons of tv shows that will likely vanish into the ether, doubly so when they are really old things. I found out once that the TV show with the most episodes ever is a german fairy tale anthology series.

I guess so. He's not Grummz level of being the scapegoat face of the "alt right chuds" like Sargon was in the pre-2016 era, but companies are starting to detest him more and more. I do think that there are some things he will avoid saying to stop him from losing the less extreme members of his audience, but he's mostly good in some people's books.

What's even more ironic is that this headline alone makes it seem like he is at least not sparing them from his general America first plan, unless israel is getting tarrifs lightly compared to other countries. I could be wrong about Israel getting any hits from him, though.

People seem to be kind of upset over The Duskbloods, given that it's Fromsoft trying to seemingly hop on an outdated trend (Not certain if it's a battle royale just yet, but people seem to be more upset by games as a service as time goes on).

We'll see how it plays out.

Aye. The whole cartridges are expensive thing will probably be an excuse that will carry publishers through rising prices for a while.

Right. However, it is worth mentioning that I did see a video thumbnail on youtube from what I could easily surmise was a lefty channel saying that America might not recover from Trump, so even if he leaves gracefully come the end of his term (which I think is what will likely happen), I can see him being scapegoated for a lot of things that happen during his successor's term even if the pendulum swings back in the blue court's favor.

The fact that you're suggesting that as a punishment shows just how awful it is.

Thank god. I think there probably wouldn't be much time before public backlash caused that to go crazy.

So if I have this correct... it's basically a subsidiary that's going to be used as a holding company for their IPs, which will then get sold off while the main company is dissolved?

In fact, I think that this is contributing to an observation I've had for a while now: Much of the games industry is trying to focus itself on presentability over other things to justify large budgets.

Indeed. While some people have talked about 4chan being compromised by glowies, the attitude of the site and much of the culture of it's various boards certainly hasn't changed, which is why I would at least partially disagree.

I do remember voat a fair bit. I think in many ways it was a forerunner to scored, even if I do remember the shutdown fairly well. And I can understand why it had to shut down due to financial issues.

Yes, you're pretty much right.

I will say there are advantages to having a smaller userbase, as unhelpful as that can be. Being unappealing to the wider market does mean that fewer people will want to shit up the site, as well as making sure the site is less likely to get attacked by external parties. I think that a lot of right-wing hotspots like this will crop up, and generally do fairly good for their niche when preferring to keep a lower profile. Scored hasn't made any major headlines, and I think a lot of outsiders just see it as a site made for people who wanted to flee reddit (just like the cringetopia site) and little else.

For more relevant things to your conversation, I should mention 8chan I think had been doing fairly well before hotwheels turned on his users, and 8kun had appealed to far too small a niche (Basically, the 0.5% instead of the 10%), one which is no longer considered meaningful in the 2020s. I think the webring that formed in light of both is mostly going at a similar pace to scored of a few small communities and several dead ones.

Seven fingers. Into her ass or her face?

MrHeretic 6 points ago +6 / -0

I think that if they sanitised 4chan to push all the non-pozzed people off of it, then the site would lose relevance fast, and people would just migrate to another 8chan.

I feel like it's better if we just give Shadows the silent treatment for now, and see what the sales numbers say in a few weeks time so that it doesn't subsist off of the discussion. Good thing I played Yasuke simulator today, certainly worth the money.

I don't know much about this new prime minister guy. But for now, I will see how he plays out, since I have vague memories of other decent people on this sub saying some minor praise about him.

Another thing that is annoying is that this prime minister brings up the problems that mass tourism is causing Japan and yet he isn't closing the borders.... like why. ?

I don't know if he has the power to do that. And even then, I think halting immigration wouldn't do much about tourists. At the very least, I don't think he would approve of Johnny Somali.
