Most prisons are like that in the UK, many people reoffend because they have a better standard if living in jail.

They have games consoles, sky tv they even get Christmas dinner.

I remember hearing that it costs on average about 30-35k a year per inmate. And they still have the nerve to complain when budgets are tight and they might not be able to give them a fancy dinner at Christmas.

The system is so broken, lock them up in concrete cells no luxuries other than being able to read and to work to pass time. Remove all incentives

Some context behind this, he went on a big ole rant I. Parliament how there's a bunch of white people in high up positions. It's almost as if Scotland is still mostly white.. At least for now

They're probably uncomplex microservices, as soon as he needs to expand on them he'd still need a team behind it.

It's entertaining seeing the comments on that, how Devs are allegedly up in arms. It's not the capability, I reckon it's more of that they've dedicated their lives and years into learning tech, code and logic. Then you get some clown with an AI thinking he knows it all and can get his minimum wage bot to do everything a skilled dev can.

Here's me hoping this clownworld has some good news, when these BLM rioters try to claim it they get arrested and fined with the damages to all these businesses.

It's all a big money laundering ploy, democrats going to democrat I guess

the Su-27s dumped fuel on and flew in front of the MQ-9 in a reckless, environmentally unsound and unprofessional manner.

This is the funniest shit I've heard all week, say it how it is. Your drone was shot down to prevent it from feeding Intel to the Ukrainians.

Rant over lol, I just absolutely hate people who beg for sympathy for their own stupid decisions then get government handouts.

Where the people in the middle get nothing and always get fucked over

7
MorbidlyCatatonic 7 points ago +7 / -0

I thought this article was pretty funny, the BBC have been posting sympathy shit pieces like this for weeks since the government created "cost of living crisis"

They're almost always avoidable situations but they still try to scrape the barrel for sympathy and attention..

Some of these however; properly boil my piss, completely avoidable situations all involving children. Either because they don't know what contraception is or they're having kids but can't afford them. The most annoying part is some of these fucks are entitled enough to beg for more and complain when they don't get what they want, or that they can't afford to buy their kids Christmas presents and shit (context: every year there's articles about parents being unable to decide whether to get Christmas dinner or presents for their kids, because obviously plastic toys are more important than yknow, food). Then complain it's the government's fault for not giving them more money, handouts and even free properties.

These people are that retarded they don't even realise it's taxpayers money and they're basically begging and leeching off them to stay alive because of their bad decisions.

(Dual article, "homeless at 6" woman has two kids, no father in sight, part time employee. Was made homeless because the landlord wanted to sell. Which of course the article is completely against even though it's their fucking property. Second article, woman with two kids turns down a bigger house she begged for because it's further away. Also enforces a facial stereotype) https://archive.md/bM8ld

(A blogger and a delivery driver have 25p in their account at the end of the week. She has all sorts of health problems which is pretty sad and unfortunate. But again, can't afford kids... Bonus cringe for calling their kid Odin) https://archive.md/kmdHw

I dislike that you need to earn X amount to have kids, especially nowadays in this country where the average person can't afford to buy a property because they're so fucking expensive. But it isn't hard to plan for the future and actually realise that you need money to survive; also preferably get a partner who is actually going to stick around and support the family unit.

Not surprised, declining quality in education and a pocket computer which contains the answers to anything you need is obviously going to lead to a drop in intellect.

It's definitely not a 100 hour experience from what I've heard, but then for me neither were some of the fallouts . I only have so many hours in it because of mod support.

I can't imagine the modding community for this being that significant though, it's probably a single playthrough every few years kinda game.

I agree, but I still think there's a time and place. I find these are a bit excessive and properly slow down areas.

Feels like they're artificially padding the game out sometimes

2
MorbidlyCatatonic 2 points ago +2 / -0

I give it a week until someone mods it to flip it on its head.

Janniestein 3D is a short retro first-person shooter game about escaping a gender-fascist concentration camp. Unleash your pent-up fury upon the gender-critical tyrants with an arsenal of deadly weapons and tactics in cathartic bliss,"

It'd be funny trying to escape a concentration camp where they're trying to trans you. I also find it funny how the description could easily go both ways, all it took was a single word change

I don't know why these people have the urge to feel special.

Have they not realized by saying they're "non-binary" they've just categorised themselves in binary and non-binary... Which is again, binary

3
MorbidlyCatatonic 3 points ago +3 / -0

It isn't, but they have at least given it the title of early access instead of just releasing a completely broken game. Like Many 'AAA' companies do nowadays.

5
MorbidlyCatatonic 5 points ago +7 / -2

Early access, reviews are due to bugs, stability issues and lack of content.

As much as I'd love to rag on it because it has one of "those" on its team, it's a bit unfair. Games basically a beta.

Try before you buy, if they're asking for a boycott from Microsoft there's a chance it might be on gamepass.

Worth a look

how will the left respond if when* Ukraine loses?

The normies will most likely move on to the next thing a couple of weeks later when their attention is drawn away to the next big thing. There will be the occasional "Putin bad" but theres already waning attention spans regarding the whole war anyway.

As for the lefty elites? I'd bet mission accomplished, granted they didn't stick it to Putin or keep their puppet in office. But track record wise the US isn't particularly good at it. So as for spending billions in weapons (most likely filling their pockets in handouts from the manufacturers) they'll get to retire rich.

Realistically all I see this entire war is a big money laundering psyop, I don't care for either side. From what I've read what Ukraine has done to the Russians in their country deserves some form of backlash (War is a bit extreme imo) But neither side is squeaky clean and it makes me seethe everytime i see the Ukrainian actor pop up in the news begging for more weaponry, if he really wanted to stop an invasion. They would've joined Nato. Reap what you sow.

As soon as it drops off the news, nobody will care anymore. Just like Saint Floyd, Thunberg and Hunter Bidens laptop.

Go big or go home. They basically did the same thing to the entirety of Britain over the 9months of The blitz, which iirc killed more. Granted this is only one city and doesn't take into account the other bombing raids, but if they want to be selective then sure.

It makes sense to level a place which houses a bunch of manufacturing, exactly the same thing that they did with London, Coventry and Birmingham.

It can’t be a financial winner.

Nor can theft and with increasing insurance and no signs of the government fixing their theft problem. What does this dolt expect?
