I don’t really use it anyway. Seems to be something that just invites trouble.

Don’t start shit, won’t be shit. Just the way it goes in life.

The other guy is in stable condition.

It’s also not really a sucker punch if they’re both trying to fight.

Not sure what that has to do with it.

Look man, if you’re happy with your wife, then I’m happy for you!

However, most users on this site will call you a race traitor for marrying a nonwhite woman. Some will even hate you just because you’re married.

You’re not among friends here, especially if you bring up that you married outside of your race.

Buddy, you gotta learn eventually:

They hate your spouse, and more than likely they hate you for being a race traitor. It’s not about black v white. It’s white v nonwhite.

They consider your spouse the enemy because they’re not white

Then they should stop.

That’s all there is to it. Those men are in full control of their spending on OF. It’s very easy to not subscribe.

Well he said he needed X amount of dollars, then he kept going. He had more money than he knew what to do with, and he kept going. It went far beyond providing for his family, especially since most of it he couldn't even legally use on them.

So, "providing" was not the reason for what he did.

I think there is certainly some pull of him initially making money to pay for his treatments, but it's clear even in early seasons that he's after it for himself.

you meant he originally was doing it for himself and then after Skylar rejected every attempt out of spite he started doing it for himself

I'm not sure what this means. What does Skylar have to do with it?

1
Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

What about when he made that money and then kept going?

1
Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

He had the money, giving it to his son can still be a logical choice while still the entirety of his meth cooking actions are selfish. I don’t really see what the betrayal is in that.

And why would you want to believe it? Well, like the writers you've probably been indoctrinated in this idea that a man providing is outdated and toxic

lol what

Meth dealing is toxic. Providing isn’t. Are you using?

Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah he says a lot of things in earlier parts of the show just to hide things or to say what Skylar needed to hear to move on. When he has nothing left though, that’s when he actually can be honest for once.

they had screwed up on making Walt less liked over time because the writers didn't understand actual people's (at least men's) morality is so they had to go 180 degrees all in one season.

What do you mean by this?

At what point is he admitting mistakes in “the fly”?

1
Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

They had to call in the Aryan Brotherhood (who were Gus and Mike's clean-up men btw)

Not sure where you're getting that info...there's no way Jack would be working for Gus.

We see him freely admit to mistakes over and over in building his drug empire

When?

Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

I was rooting for him until I saw how he turned against Hank/Jesse. I recently rewatched it, and he's very much a villain the whole time. It makes it fun, I love the show more after rewatching it, but he's absolutely the bad guy (among a cast of bad guys/gals)

so she has to live with the fact that Walter actually did it all for them.

But he didn't. He did it all for him. He said so in the final episode. "I did it for me. I liked it."

K.

I'm not really complaining or quarrelling about anything except the needless endless wars and the rich pedophile elite bleeding the common man dry. If the gay couple living down the street from me have anything to do with that, please let me know how, because it's not really clear to me why telling them to leave my neighborhood will change anything about my $80 gas tank.

inb4 "hurr durr I can't explain it hurr durr you're too far gone hurr durr if you don't already know then it's hopeless durrrrrr"

I guess a better way for me to phrase it would be, seeing nonwhites or lesbians on my tv has literally zero negative effect on my life.

I do date. Have had a girlfriend for about a year now. No kids yet though. So what's the impact? You think I'll suddenly want to dump her to date a dude?

What I care about with someone I date is that she is kind, loyal, smart and has her life together (and is hot). That's it. If she's white, black, brown, blue, I don't really care. It's not something I consider to be critical for my standards. She's also gotta like being in the outdoors, so I suppose that's one more.

As for my son, I care that he grows up to be a kind, responsible, contributing member of society. If he's gay, so be it. He's my son. That's what I care about.

So, no, those types of things genuinely don't bother me. They bring zero negativity into my life.

You've got a low bar for wokeness my guy lol

I'm okay with seeing stories that explore relationships. Not all relationships are heterosexual, so it's fine to me if I see a homosexual relationship on the screen. It changes literally nothing about my life.

Back in the 40s and 50s, majority of people also didn't condone or like seeing non-whites on mainstream media. But again, with me, it doesn't matter if I see a black character or an interracial relationship. Those existing change nothing about my life.

Maybe stop being so sensitive about what a fictional story is putting out there. It'll lower your blood pressure a bit I'm sure.

What's degenerate? It's not like it's saying that it's better, and it's not presented any more or less perverse than a normal straight relationship.

I mean take Pluribus. Granted, I haven't finished it, but as far as I've seen you're not seeing raucous lesbian sex or anything. It's just two people in a relationship

1
Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's a show about a soccer team being stranded and getting into a "lord of the flies" type survival. There is one lesbian couple, but it's not a central plot point at all (the "gayness" of it all)

I used it as an example of a show that isn't just a remake, because I was replying to the comment that spoke about that

Walt, and to a slightly lesser degree Jesse, are both bad people, so they should be hated. I think a show that does that effectively is great

Anime is not my thing, personally. I prefer live action.

There are plenty of options available that I've enjoyed, including rewatches. Going through Breaking Bad again now
