Star Trek's first
Except for when TNG did it almost 30 years ago. Star Trek has been doing edgy "we're so progressive" shit since the 1960's.
I love how these people think the fact they're being "controversial" is the reason people don't watch their show, and not that fact that they're terrible writers and creators.
Yes. Dude clearly has issues and has no business being anywhere near a position of power. Yet here we are.
Alex Jones has now commented on the situation and claims Rogan will posting the missing episodes in a second rollout. I'll believe it when I see it.
The article has a full list of what episodes are missing.
I've edited my comment a few times to add more as I find them.
Episode #911 with Alex Jones and Eddie Bravo is missing too.
I'm actually surprised the May 16th fight companion is still there because a lot of people flipped the fuck out about that one when it was first posted. So much for all that "he's moving to Spotify because they promised not to censor him" talk.
EDIT: Episode #980 with Chris D'Elia is missing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHzIgui7ZKw
Episode #998 with Owen Benjamin is missing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqcQu0yGAPA.
Episode #582 with David Seaman is missing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7ObSwWbvUQ
All of David Seaman's episodes are gone, actually.

Soros somehow makes James Bond villains seem realistic.
I haven't! Thank you for reminding me because I had definitely intended to at some point.
I want to reiterate some of the other suggestions people made:
Berserk
Goblin Slayer
Trigun
Attack on TItan
Full Metal Panic!
Chris Claremont era X-men
Frank Miller era Batman
Judge Dredd
I also like:
Hellblazer (John Constantine)
The Sandman
Lucifer
300
Berserk is one of my favorites, though I will warn you that it's not finished because the author would rather play idol games than work these days. The first few story arcs are classic though.
Claremont wrote some of the classic X-men arcs, like Dark Phoenix and Days of the Future Past, but a lot of the lesser known stuff he did is good too.
Attack on Titan isn't finished yet, but is expected to be within the next year.
Lucifer is absolutely nothing like the tv show "based" on the comics. If you do read it, I recommend you also read The Sandman chapters that set-up the character.****
I first noticed it back in 2012 during the "Hamburger Hepler" thing with Bioware.

I'm sure there was stuff that happened before that. That was just the first thing that got my attention.
It's also extremely dangerous for Dems considering so many people don't care about Biden. I've heard a lot of "I'm just voting for the cabinet" or "I'm just voting for the Supreme Court" or "He's my only option because I'll never vote for Trump".
It's in their interest to keep everyone divided and flinging poo at each other like monkeys so they'll be motivated to get out and vote for an extremely weak candidate.
Studies have also shown that outrage inducing content drastically increases social media engagement. Anything promoting the idea of "unity" isn't going to be much of a priority for Twitter to protect.
They were supposedly designated terrorists by DHS back in 2016 - before Trump was even elected. But the media screams bloody murder about it every time the idea gets mentioned, so who knows what the current status of that is.

FUCK THAT
Not really. It's kinda been like the 90's baseball strike all over again for me. I generally prefer college football to the NFL anyway, but after the last couple years of political horseshit, I've just kinda moved on to other things.
My mother-in-law is a huge NASCAR fan and she's mad as fuck right now because of the Bubba Wallace stuff. There's just no escape from the agenda pushing in any form of entertainment right now.
Who are these "workers" they keep talking about? All the Chinese people that work in the factories we outsourced 30 years ago?
I'm not who you were responding to but - good lord am I tempted.
None of us are individual people to them anymore. We're all just categories.
I just figured she slept her way to the top of that too.
I don't need forced, disingenuous, OP bullshit
This. As soon as one of those characters comes on the screen, I think "Oh great, it's another smug, overpowered Mary Sue that I'm supposed to 'identify' with" and I nope out.
There's such a lack of subtlety and basic storytelling in a lot of things now, that all these "strong female characters" being promoted are really the same exact character being played by different actresses. They're not interesting. They have no hero's journey, because that might be sexist somehow. They barely even have a personality most of the time. They're just the best and hottest and the smartest and snarkiest and all the men around her are useless to highlight how awesome she is.
I can think of a million other things I'd rather be doing than wasting my time watching that shit.
Very true. Totally agree about the 1,000 Words cinematic too. That song hit me pretty hard the first time I played the game.
I get strangely addicted to grinding in that game too because I always want to fully master EVERY dress sphere. By the time I get to the final boss I'm so overleveled all I have to do is sneeze and he'll fall over.
Even X-2 which I will defend to my death as a strong game.
I've replayed X-2 a couple times, most recently last year. It's definitely very silly at times, but I like the job system in it a lot. And Yuna is one of my favorite FF characters.
bandanas have been a thing in the West for a long time, but usually associated with western North America, in the days before the car.
Yeah, it was just common sense amongst my older relatives and elderly church people I was raised around - many of whom had grown up during the Great Depression or the Dust Bowl era. Bandanas were functional, not a fashion statement.
This maybe?
how feminized the office has become. It's hard to describe, but it's most noticeable when I see people in our site meetings chat feel-good empty platitudes and praise at each other for what seem like very non-noteworthy accomplishments.
I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. It's drives me nuts because it's all so obviously fake, yet you're expected to participate and act like you sincerely "care", otherwise everyone thinks you're an asshole.
The curriculum was created by the Adolescent Health Working Group, SFUSD teachers, and the San Francisco Department of Public Health.
Of course it was.
Very true.
