I'm submitting to the idea that entire industries on these campuses are just built on the idea that saddling women with debt will make them more controllable as consumers. The scholarship itself is probably 95% meaningless.

I think they're assuming the whole corporate ladder is just nothing but board room knife fights and stabbing each other in the back repeatedly all the way down. And society just runs itself if you whip the peasants hard enough. When the Vice President is the living embodiment of this, can you really blame them for thinking like this?

I just started watching Stranger Things Season 1 and... I don't see the hype. It's trying way too hard to be like ET with the bicycles, and every supporting actor behaves like the writer's using them as human props. The actors are good though...

Agreed. Imagine an old house in the middle of a rainstorm, and the Atheists are tearing it down because they don't like the color of the walls. At the bare minimum, don't do it until after you have another house to stay in, or at least when it's not fucking raining.
It's not nitpicking to say old lithium batteries explode in a ball of fire. That is what lithium batteries do. This is why they're specially disposed of in big-ass lithium pits so they won't set everything else on fire.

Literally Florida is the only sane state. Locked down instantly when they heard it was a pandemic. Stopped locking down immediately when they realized it was a false alarm. The lack of dead bodies after two weeks was the clue.
It's not just you... And it's probably just a simple Left-Right distinction. Everyone with a brain can see the Atheism debate is completely and utterly irrelevant by now, and that anyone still pretending old white christian evangelicals rule the world is lying through their teeth. Instead, they've just figured out literally 100% of the Political Atheists are Left Wing, and also some of them are insane.
It's not that complicated. They wanted the winning shot to be a black player so twitter and the guardian journos could have a field day, so to speak.
