Minecraft is the best selling video game of all time. If the movie is remotely tolerable it will make real money from real people, no laundering involved.
Battleborn, Lawbreakers, and now Concord - anyone else want to try their hand at a 5v5 hero shooter with ugly ass characters?
The rules of the game create the players. Any alternative that operates under the same systems will have a similar outcome.
Free sites gain all the users because the barrier to entry is low. Without a barrier, moderation is needed or the content degenerates. But the cost of moderation vs the profit from users just doesn't add up, so you have to find shortcuts. That means volunteer moderators and user report based actions. They're mostly good but you get a lot of moderators with extreme ideological motivation or external profit motives, and user reports are occasionally an angry political mob.
Every website is like this because it's the only solution we've found to "social media" equation that scales. You guys like to pretend it isn't but this site is exactly like reddit, complete with power tripping mods, group think and persistent trolls - because the site operates under the same rules.
They would have all lost their jobs anyway. Modern game studios are a single use item.
I have long passed the point of anonymity on this account, but thank you for your concern.
While working on my own game (shameless plug), I've watched several videos by steam marketing guru Chris Zukowski. He claims that genre is everything on steam and that park builder / management sim has a higher chance of success. It's not my cup of tea but I'll be interested to see how this is received.
Jon Weisnewski is not a member of this forum and thus cannot be banned for his identity attacks on whites.
I made my own remaster of Super Mario Land https://badspot.us/Mario-Land-Fun.html and I'd like to use the same engine to officially remaster some old Apogee titles that I played as a child. Things like Monuments of Mars, Arctic Adventure, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, etc.
I don't think it would be financially viable but it would be fun for me.
They only gave them 100 credits lol. Reminds me of the canvas bag fiasco where bethesda didn't even give customers enough credits to buy a virtual canvas bag.
This is why I get all my games from abandonware sites 20 years after the developer went out of business.
I think a contributing factor is that autists, by definition, don't understand social roles or cues. So they don't realize that they are not capable of fulfilling the female role. This is quite apparent in the various GDQ cringe compilations where they don't understand that they look like just had a looney tunes chase through grandma's closet. They can't imagine what they look like to other people, and they can't judge other peoples expressions when they look at them.
At GDQ in particular, there's a cult indoctrination effect going on. They corner an autist and dress him up, then tell him the sexual sensations he feels are "gender euphoria" and the constant autistic awkwardness he feels is dysphoria.
Food and conditions in general are measurably worse in the UK. Here's two twins who separated at birth, one raised in California, the other in the UK https://i.imgur.com/LpOUZUm.jpeg You can tell which is which just by looking at them. Bonus points for the tranny doctor collecting your tax dollars to study them.
I think there are a lot of young people out there who genuinely do not know what a tan is. We're going on 20+ years of not playing outside, plus the full court sunscreen press when you do. If you're a tumblrite you could easily have never been tan and never known anyone who has tanned.
Wasn't a vaccine campaign used as cover to locate Bin Laden?
Yeah cause any time I sell something on craigslist, I think to myself, "isn't there some way I could have all the same problems with this and also pay 30% to a megacorp?"
Problem is if you offer it for free, you get weirdos and flakes. Unless you put it on the side of the road and make it self service.
Alright, everyone has to pick one: https://i.imgur.com/cvEAeMT.jpeg
Who're you going with?
>They travel, eat food a lot, and tell you about their feelings and all of their childhood trauma
I watched a stream for a minute and I can tell you that they also go pee pee and poo poo.
Is this a quote from a hawkish aristocrat who never saw a trench?
A single shell is instantaneous, sure. But a barrage can last for hours or even days. If you're wounded by shrapnel you can suffer for the rest of your life.
The drones effectively puncture the fantasy of war, but it was always a fantasy.
So how do you feel about artillery? You know where you just fire a shell from miles away and never even have to look at the people you're going to kill - or even verify that you're hitting the right person.
I haven't messed with grok but depicting two characters with different attributes that aren't stereotypical has been a challenge for all image generation AIs. The properties of one subject tend to bleed into the other.
This looks like a PSA about sexual predators in kids games
