I couldn't get in to kingmaker at all. Maybe I'll give it a try again, I found most characters to be either uninteresting or straight up disliking them. I played with mercenaries for a while but got bored.

WOTR is considerably worse in term of wokenes, one of the first characters you interact are an ugly black female paladin and a tranny that is in a lesbian relation but with the wokeless mode is considerably better then kingmaker. It removes all the gay and trans stuff and makes the paladin good looking. It does some other stuff as well.

As a disclosure, I did not take all the companions, there was this rich asimar that was a complete degenerate and this girl, that was suppose to be very smart but it made the initial dialogue seem like Loony toons and not a dark fantasy and If you are very observant there is some things that smell of wokenes but not really woke, but I'll not get in to details.

I've been playing Pathfinder WOTR with the wokeless mod and it turns out the game is good, not perfect but very much enjoyable to the point where I'm starting to think the devs are not really woke and it was just paizo that made demands on the amount of LGBT, race diversity and strong females.

I doubt any amount of mods can save this game, it's not just the trans stuff, it looks woke in every video and screen shots I've seen.

The idea of a Vampire is very interesting. It offers immortality and a bunch of other powers but at the cost of eternal torment. You can even go further as it is in itself a temptation beyond your control and there is a level of desire to give in to the pleasure of being a vampire.

A vampire curse is a romanticization of uncontrollable urges in humans and how they can doom us to eternal damnation.

Remove the downside of being a vampire, the eternal punishment that will inevitably come and vampires are just marvel type characters with superpowers, vulnerabilities and an origin story.

In Blood Origins every kingdom was to much alike. Have different ethnicities with different laws and different culture and architecture that is so distinct that when there are scenes in that region the viewer would know what region it was.

It creates immersion, excitement, a sense of awe and interest.

But we got modern day diversity where every region/ kingdom is a mix of every human ethnicity and everything screams modern day California.
