Vanity has preceded virtue. Before social media, people actually had to do good to become recognised in their community. The same dopamine hit can now be achieved though receiving 'likes' on posts with little to no value.
The demo is quite a lot of fun, I love the way the AI hallucinates into creating weird scenes that are constantly transforming, makes for a pretty wild trip. But I agree - It's a 30min novelty at best - I don't see it going beyond whatever you're already feeding the algorithm.

edit: I'm not trying to catch you out, I'm genuinely interested. I see that word thrown around a lot, used to make someone feel better about a situation and disassociate themselves from, to use your word, psychopaths.
After one week of abusing the reporting system, those trannies would have been reasonably banned from the site. But this is Reddit, so who knows.
