I don't understand the grammar of this sentence. What is she trying to say?
Twitter is such a font of wisdom and profundity, I simply MUST pay to see what my favourite bluechecks have to say!
I really think the hate surrounding this game is exaggerated. I will admit that I didn't have any expectations going into it so I couldn't be disappointed, but in my opinion it's a pretty good open world game, just not the game that people were expecting.
One thing that continues to impress me is the quality of the map, despite its impressive size. I can't believe how many buildings you can go into and out of, seamlessly, and how 'lived in' the world feels. In most open world games, I start to notice copy-pasting of assets after awhile, but Cyberpunk manages to keep things varied enough that the illusion isn't broken (for me, anyway). If I had to pick one thing that does bother me it would be the traffic AI, or lack thereof. It makes it hard to cruise around the city when the traffic lights don't really work.
Overall I think it's a game that tripped over its ambition, but at least it's trying to be something with a soul to it, unlike Ubisoft or EA's more polished open worlds.
Yeah I'm aware of the difficulties I'll face because I'm not a favored ethnicity. Thankfully I never got into social media in the first place so I don't have anything to scrub (except my deviantart profile, thank you for reminding me). Thanks for the advice though!
I must say I have already been exposed to these schools of thought through my university projects. Especially the 'fuck it, that'll do' school when deadlines are looming (or group-mates aren't pulling their weight). Glad to know it doesn't change much in industry.
Do you think the unreadability is due to English not being their first language, or them just being bad programmers? I've heard Indians in the tech sector are very nepotistic with their own kind.
I'm about to graduate and enter the software business. Anything I should know about?
The last time the left and the right agreed upon something like this was Occupy Wall Street, and we all know how that was subverted. That's why the media is trying to give this a full broadside before it gets any bigger. The one institution they can't afford us to start turning against is the banks and their attendants.
Yeesh, yeah that writing is pretty abysmal...
Making an effective vaccine for humans with such varied genetics is rather like optimising a PC game to run on many different kinds of hardware. For most people it'll run fine, but there will be certain edge cases where a combination of factors causes the game to crash (or the immune system, in the case of a vaccine).
These are the kind of pictures that are definitely going to be in history books in a hundred years.
I can't believe the Chinese internet warriors are STILL holding a grudge about this. From what I understand, all that happened was one of the Hololive girls mentioned Taiwan, not even in a positive light, just neutrally. It makes me feel like I'm missing something deeper about the political implications here. What did Clover corp do to piss the Chinese off so badly?
This went so far into the memory hole that I didn't even hear about it until now. I guess it doesn't fit the narrative.
I think this highlights one of the stark differences I've noticed between the progressives and the conservatives in the west today. Most conservatives, I think it's fair to say, would begrudgingly surrender territory and let all the progressives go there to form their own nation and live out their fantasies far away from them and their families. Progressives, on the other hand, have no desire to leave conservatives alone. They would not tolerate a national divide, as they rely on the functional members of society to provide the luxury that allows them to spout such illogical dogma.
The people making these decisions probably aren't Germans.
Thanks, I'll check it out.
I've heard that phrase in various places recently; The Great Reset. Is it like a policy that was discovered? Do you know where I can find out more about it?
They carry around hammer and sickle paraphernalia for goodness sake. You shouldn't need to convince anyone that they're commies, it's not like they're trying to hide it.
What's the major difference in radiation exposure between men and women?
