I did it a few months ago. It was a shitshow. Our Republicans didn't know the rules and did everything wrong. The democrat observer corrected them several times and I had to diplomatically side with him multiple times. I later called our county chair and we had a frank conversation about the matter. Hopefully we do better in November.
It Follows is a tight 100 minutes and if you've never seen it before, it's solid horror at a small budget. As Above So Below is also very tight and enjoyable, at 93 minutes. It's hard for me to find time but I would love to join in on a horror stream.
Their source is under constant scrutiny by security analysts and privacy advocates across the world. The FBI has subpoenaed them for every scrap of data they collect and they produced virtually nothing in return. I'm not saying that can't change or that its a perfect platform, but they've passed some high bars.
I recently rewatched that and just didn't enjoy it like I did as a kid. Maybe the plot was too silly or I couldn't buy the premise/plot twist.
The Animated Series still holds up though. I can't think of another cartoon series that nails everything so perfectly.
That's surprisingly not far off from many states in the US, and the self defense laws are similarly murky. Some states you've got a duty to retreat from a fight, others you can stand your ground. Pretty much anywhere you have a right to defend your home with lethal force, but that can depend on the level of threat that you are faced with (violent, armed criminal vs a lost girlscout breaking into your home).
