Not with that attitude!
Wasn't most of that just soviet propaganda? The kind of "haha even our women can kill you pussies".
I made a post about it being woker, than I expected, but still a decent watch. I maintain my opinion of it, but to each their own.
Downloaded it yesterday as the earlier ones were kind of OK, but not going to bother. I am playing The Bard's Tale Trilogy anyway, and having a nostalgia blast with it.
I have Exodus on my wishlist, what made you dislike it? First two games were pretty great. I actually liked the corridor-shooter aspect of it, so whilst I am not too thrilled about it being more open world that alone didn't deter me.
I doubt they would abandon it, they would just make it easy to cut out, as they have in the past.
I have played Shadow of the Tomb Raider and don't remember anybody being alphabet in it. I have stopped paying attention to the story fairly early because it didn't hold my interest, but if there was anyone like that it went over my head.
I actually grown to appreciate it, but at first glance it was kind of strange. The monster design however is fantastic, especially the ones that have multiple designs due to getting more and more damaged.
Sequel is coming in the near future I think.
Have been playing a retro shooter called Project Warlock. Quite good, though I find it a little easy, even on the highest difficulty. Not really complaining, as it makes somewhat more relaxing this way.
You have a point, and it was very visible when Guy asked for permission to kiss the chick, while when the chick wanted to kiss him she just grabbed him and went for it.
But the way the story and the world was set up it didn't bother me as much as it probably bothered you. For example, Guy was essentially a virgin who have never kissed anyone before, and being an NPC he also didn't understand a lot about how human stuff works. Whereas when she kissed him she was trying to bring his memories back, and they knew that seeing her was what originally triggered him on his path.
The main male character was always shown to be an introvert coder, someone like him not being able to make a move is par for the course for someone like that. Also, the girl was always buried in the games, first the one they made, and then in Free City to find their code in it. Not paying much attention to the outside world, and the people around her felt believable, and was actually a point Guy himself made near the end. Not to mention that she came off as an introvert herself, so to me this was ultimately OK.
Also, call me a pussy, if you want, but I liked that they hooked up in the end. We need some positive shit in movies, a lot of them are depressing these days, even if unintentionally.
With Get Out it didn't feel as much in your face as with this one. It felt more like a consequence of the setting and the story. With this it felt it is the setting and the story they want to start from.
I get where you are coming from, but personally had little problem turning my brain off and just enjoy this movie enough to not want the time back that I have spent on it.
With how shit most of the stuff we get is these days it was somewhat of a fresh air for me.
They want to give you what they want, not what you want, and they want you to accept and like it.
That's a lot of work, c'mon, man!
But seriously, they are trying to get as much out of as little work, as possible. Both in terms of money, and clout.
Bond has a lot of international appeal, so this might still end up doing a lot of money.
Yeah, but Get Out also had a racial component to it, but I was still able to enjoy it.
Don't know about your livelihood, but it is a Hollywood movie, so the rest pretty much checks out.
About a minute after the main black couple discusses how the womans gay black brother must like his gay white partner since he is really showing his ass to him. Then they talk about how "White people built the ghetto and then erased it, when they realized they built the ghetto."
And about five minutes later the main black couple are talking about white supremacy, and how "it creates these spaces of rampant neglect for communities of color, in particular, Black communities.". Also "One white woman dies in the hood, and the story lives on forever.".
That was the time when I have noped out.
If this is a genuine question, Free Guy is a movie.
How does that number come together? Not doubting that it will need a lot, as it probably had a very high budget, and had to do several rounds of marketing because of the constant delays, but 900m sounds awfully high.
There is a sour candy in Hungary called Negro that has nothing to do with black people. It's been around for a century or so, and got its name from the guy that came up with it (yes, his surname was Negro).
We should get the rights to use it in a game, for example a co-op brawler, where the candy would act as a powerup for example. We could call the game "The Magical NegroTM".
Gore isn't that common these days, at least as much as I have seen.
Only thing missing is for the reporter to have a black eye.
They never do.
