Is this about that Norse woman's skeleton they found last year that had a sword with her, so they claimed she "may have been non-binary?"
There was a meme made about it. "Please, when I die, bury me with his sword."
I just misread the word as "blockstain" and now I really like that term.
How did I never know that about Tri-Ace? No wonder pre-merger Enix published the PS1 release.
And right after I was gushing so hard about Star Ocean: The Second Story R.
Granted, Square Enix didn't make that one. They just published it. Gemdrops developed it.
Who cares?
Shit it out fast!

acp_k2win? Is that you?
He's the only other guy I've ever seen say "gay commies."
I still quote this particular line now, as a joke. So at least it's funny!
No one is allowed to get as big as they got without Epstein blackmail.
I only learned about that app today, because their Twitter started posting so much today, they got rate-limited by the API.
It was all sorted out a couple of hours later, once the account got tagged as a public utility, and now it can tweet as much as it wants.
I didn't think this factoid warranted its own post here, so I didn't make one. But once I saw this topic, I had an opportunity to share this.
Fun fact:
Japan's alert app for earthquakes and tsunamis is called NERV.
It's a deliberate reference--their logo even has the famous slogan "God's in His Heaven. All's right with the world."
Worse, that one show got the worst dub director in all of anime, Steven Foster, job security for about a decade.
Foster eventually got himself blackballed from the business by the very actors he was directing, because he gave absolutely no shits about doing anything resembling a passable job.
One of these days, look up dub scenes from the second half of a show called Guin Saga. That was a Steven Foster dub, and he was so checked out, he didn't bother to check to see if the actors had stopped taking the show seriously--because THEY KNEW he was too lazy to check.
As a result, completely serious scenes are loaded with silly voices, because Steven Foster went "yeah, sure, whatever" and let them stay in the show!
I specify the second half because the FIRST half was played straight.
The show was "The Yuzuki Family's Four Sons," by the way.
At least Lucifer has one of the most amazing English voices I've ever heard.
And to think, his actor has no other acting credits whatsoever.
Neither does Ashton's actor, who also gives one of the best performances in the game.
Yeah, I rolled my eyes at this too, until I learned that was also in the source material.
Doesn't change what they did with the second season's dub, which IS cringe. They put in a Spongebob joke, among many other things...
The dub of the anime The Devil is a Part-Timer had a reference to Super Size Me in the first episode.
To my shock, it was also in the Japanese audio track...and the original light novel.
This is why I gushed so much about Star Ocean: The Second Story R yesterday.
It was so refreshing to see a game NOT do this.
Aside from...THAT plot twist, what were the "terrible elements" of Till The End Of Time?
I loved that game. As a game, anyway.
Heh heh, "inflection"
No. It's a port of the PSP remake of the Super Famicom game that was supposed to come Stateside but never did. And an excellent port it is.
One optional character, T'Nique, is even voiced by Vic Mignogna--and yes, his performance remains in First Departure R.
Second Story R, by contrast, is not a port, but a full-blown remake.
The same reasoning used to cast Idris Elba as Heimdall.
The same Heimdall who is referred to in Norse myth as
AND I QUOTE
"Whitest of all the gods."
(thanks to Andrew "The Mythology Guy" Sarran for that info)
Hooooly shit, I had no idea.
Yeah, good luck with that.
Dare I ask why the cartoon version's fingers were red?
Ghostwire Tokyo?
This all started when we let them replace "with child" with "pregnant"
