Also possibly Deus Ex and Tomb Raider.

Hm. Looks like Smash TV but with Sleepwalkers as your enemies.

I'm just happy more and more, people are detransitioning and are rising up against Gender Identity Politics.

The more people who are sane, the more reasons to know that the world isn't coming to an end (though it does feel like it).

Um... Not really. Sony Pictures are clueless, but they're not malicious like Jim Ryan's Playstation.

This may seem like something odd to put here, but it makes sense: A lot of Gaming Generation Z and the woke are influenced by Genetic memory; stuff they see being done on the internet by like minded people.

The Metal Gear franchise is no stranger to tackling this subject, notably in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, where the core theme was that of finding something to pass on. But Rising: Revengeance delivers the simplest, most tactile explanation on how Genetic Memory works: People see you with a cool shirt, they'll go out and buy that shirt because they remember how "sweet" it looks. This also brings with it worse behaviour when it's a bad meme: Maybe if a man sees his fellow comrades be slain, he'll probably take arms as a terrorist and be as bad as his enemies are.

Basically, Rising states that people are influenced not by thought, but by MEMES. And although this certainly applies to people on this sub, people you know, or even random strangers we see on the street, woke culture is the biggest proof of this statement. Making it even more sickening that most of western entertainment is overrun by woke people influenced by their memetics in this present day.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Yes, this is bad for games preservation. Look at Rockstar delisting the original versions of the 3D era GTA games only to start reselling them on their site due to the GTA definitive disaster. But on the other hand, if you wanted to play the original versions, why not emulate them? Sonic Origins is just an alternate version of Sonic The Hedgehog 1, 2 CD and 3 & Knuckles. The original versions were ripped to rom files by many an emulation enthusiast, so why NOT emulate? I'm doing this policy with games like the Armored Core franchise up to Last Raven and Ace Combat up to Zero, so I'd like to ask YOU, LaptopWillEatThisAcc, a question:

If you're so bummed that these versions will be delisted, why are you ranting about it and not realising that you can just download an emulator and a rom and emulate them?

Hmm... Yeah. I remember loving Incredibles II, but its reliance on the "Twist Villain" trope made it substantially weaker than part I. Not helping matters is that Evelyn Deavour (yes, I spoiled her Identity because she's so pathetic) is a MASSIVE downgrade over Syndrome. So yeah. Your statement still stands.

****sodom and gomorrah Seriously, Turning Red fans can go fuck themselves. Sure, Mr. Enter said that the movie should've shown the impact of 9/11 on western society, but THAT'S BECAUSE IT WOULD SHOW THAT THE MOVIE IS AN EARLY 2000s PERIOD PIECE. Be it the news or the satire, the new awareness of Terrorism was a major part of the 2000s, and the fact that Turning Red doesn't feature it proves that they wanted to set it in present-day Toronto.

Not to mention, an old favourite channel of mine, LioConvoy Reviews, got in on this act too, and just looking at the comments tells me that he has royally lost it. sneed.

Fromsoftware, dummy.

Yes, they localise their games themselves. Ever since Demon's Souls, they've been getting better and better at it.

SEGA's work on the Yakuza meta-series also deserves a mention. In fact, for a while, with the exception of Binary Domain, the games lacked English voice acting, creating a Metro/STALKER-esque immersion that helped put you into the dark, dramatic, yet playful universe.

Unfortunately, in these dangerous times, it's either the devil you know (official translations) or the devil you don't (fan translations). I'm fully aware of Atlus USA's idiocy, but I should consider myself lucky as the only games I'm planning to buy from them are the remaster of Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne and Tesla Effect (the most recent Tex Murphy adventure). I apologise If I was a moron. I'm just a firm believer that it's either the devil you know or the devil you don't.

"Stop giving 99% of localisers money, period."

OW THE BIAS~

Seriously, I do NOT need "localiser bad" virtue signallers like you in my timeframe.

Thank god I made Diablo II Resurrected and Diablo III the last games I'll ever buy from these clowns. With an apparent Troon writer LITERALLY named Troon, I don't think we'll ever see something as rich as Diablo 1 and 2 or as epic and bleak as StarCraft 1/Brood War ever again.

Background: Years ago, there was a game called "13 Sentinels". I've never played it, and I never will, because the localisers sabotaged its release by cramming the translation with Identity Politics. One of the most destructive ideologies you could ever push, and they decided to use the game's translation to push crap like "non-binary". The end result was a public stormout by gamers worldwide, and more lols amongst sane Gamergaters.

Flash forward to 2022, and the company behind 13 Sentinels decide to port it to the Nintendo Switch. But how can you make it a surefire seller? Simple. The company said that the script would be rewritten to get rid of the malicious Idpol mistranslation. Then the port came out, and it turns out THEY LIED! The characters still brag about being troons as they didn't bother with their promise!

Needless to say, I think you should stay away from 13 Sentinels. They don't care, they outright decieved, so why should YOU care? If you keep on speaking out angrily rather than silently making fun of it and not bothering, you'll just end up causing these clowns to double down and cause further deceit.

P.S. Nice to see my old Reddit haunt KotakuInAction2 reborn as a standalone site. You guys rock.
