The discussion around this movie is so toxic and the fanbase so vocal that had it not been for them it would've flown over my head completely like the past 10 or so Pixar movies.
Luca was golden. I will 100% stand by Luca as a modern classic that had no right to be so perfectly done. Especially in The Current Year.
Other than that, yeah. Pixar's hasn't had an unambiguously good movie since Toy Story 3.
Hmm... Yeah. I remember loving Incredibles II, but its reliance on the "Twist Villain" trope made it substantially weaker than part I. Not helping matters is that Evelyn Deavour (yes, I spoiled her Identity because she's so pathetic) is a MASSIVE downgrade over Syndrome.
