From the pic

Freedumb

That person needs to commit to their principles and move to China, so they can discard that which they denigrate.

Yup, worked real hard to "save the election" - from those filthy voters!

Still stretching it a bit, mate. A 49-year-old would have been born in '72. That's some early development, to catch an STD two years before conception.

So you're basing your judgement of an entire demographic off ... one town?

Has it occurred to you that black people might have slightly more to their demographics than that? There's rumoured to be whole countries of them overseas!

Why do you think the right wouldn't put me up against a wall?

As far as I can tell, I'll end up in trouble from both of them.

APDSmith -1 points ago +2 / -3

Firstly, you're not my real dad.

Second, which "enemy"? All black people? Sucks to be Thomas Sowell, then, doesn't it? Do you even know who you should be fighting, or are you advocating for a broad brush and, well, it's just collateral damage, isn't it?

... and you expect me to thank you for your response to this perceived threat of conscripting people for your tawdry little race war?

-5
APDSmith -5 points ago +1 / -6

Yep, not too different to the reasoning of the left. That's the reason I don't follow it.

APDSmith 2 points ago +5 / -3

What if I don't want to be fitted into any racial pigeonholes?

Until they annoy enough people to remove them from power.

What in the actual fuck, California? You're supposed to cheat in a believable way.

Why? Seriously, why bother making it believable? Who's going to hold Newsom to account? Biden? The Supreme Court? That ship has sailed.

In CA, at least, they have won, at least until they completely collapse their economy and simply cannot maintain the grift any more.

We can't have civil discourse on anything under this policy language, and it's frankly ridiculous.

This would be the policy language banning discussion - by which I read promotion - of BLM and antifa in Portland schools.

Yup, talking about how you're going to beat anybody who's right of Stalin is now "civil discourse" to these people.

In true post-modernist fashion, they've redefined "consensus" from "General agreement about some issue within a group or in public opinion." to "General agreement about some issue within a group of people who agree with me"

Or, perhaps - and more worryingly - they've stopped considered people who disagree to be people - and therefore part of the public - at all.

and approved by consensus.

Which consensus? The March 2020 one? December 2020? May 2021?

How do these guys find time to treat anybody when they have to focus so much on maintaining and updating a consensus...?

It's honestly difficult to say. A lot of it reads like hand-waving justifications to, from what I can tell, conduct a coup d'etat against the Trump administration.

Even if they did nothing with it, that's not exactly a great precedent to set, is it?

What if he wins again in 2024? Is the Pentagon just going to turn around to the US population and say "Wrong answer, try again"?

APDSmith 20 points ago +20 / -0

... General Milley does know that in the US, the military works for the government and not the other way around, does he?

I mean, if this story is correct, Trump should have been cutting out a Pentagon willing to conduct a coup out of the loop more often, not less.

Unfortunately, that's the one thing government around the world seem determined to phase out ... people assessing the data individually and making their own decisions.

I presume our governments have become fixated on how efficient ants are, if only they could butcher people to be that way, just think what a fascinating watchwork that would make!

It does say in the article that it took him a few minutes - with a woman pointing a loaded gun at him - for him to, um, finish up.

APDSmith 2 points ago +2 / -0

I figured they'd get around that by simply asserting that they're not real media organisations and instead some gutter press. Seems to be what he's doing at the moment anyway.

Honestly? They probably just called it an aid package of some description and made it legal.

Apparently the reason for the opposition is because they're concerned that the teaching around the event focuses too much on the role Muslim extremism played in the Sept. 11th attacks.

I mean, I do understand. It's unfair to tarnish the good name of Muslims for one devastating attack by radical Amish ideologues, and it's about time we focused on the role of the Amish in this atrocity. They can't keep getting away with it!
