Does anyone on the left realize how insane this is, state enforced quotas? And what is the point of this anyway? If you make hardware for instance, why in the world would being LGBTQ or black matter? Do minorities need different storage solutions then whites or something?

 Only thing I can see is that they assume minorities are going to promote minorities with the correct ideology to positions of power and not based on merit. The same retarded concept that turned socialist/ communists countries in to shit holes. Even China knows better then doing this crap. 

Every time I see stuff like this I die a bit inside.

Is it just me or doesn't this law discriminate violate gender discrimination laws at the federal level?

SEC. 2. Section 301.3 of the Corporations Code is amended to read:

301.3. (a) No later than the close of the 2019 calendar year, a publicly held domestic or foreign corporation whose principal executive offices, according to the corporation’s SEC 10-K form, are located in California shall have a minimum of one female director on its board. A corporation may increase the number of directors on its board to comply with this section.

(b) No later than the close of the 2021 calendar year, a publicly held domestic or foreign corporation whose principal executive offices, according to the corporation’s SEC 10-K form, are located in California shall comply with the following:

(1) If its number of directors is six or more, the corporation shall have a minimum of three female directors.

(2) If its number of directors is five, the corporation shall have a minimum of two female directors.

(3) If its number of directors is four or fewer, the corporation shall have a minimum of one female director.

If 2020 has taught me anything, the legal system means nothing to the establishment. It's mostly a weapon to be used against their enemies.

Refusing to prosecute 130 days of arson because you are funding the insurrection, means that the judiciary is at best a joke, and more often than not: a weapon in and of itself.

Technically yes but if you take in to account white latinos then whites are still a somewhat majority. I would venture to guess that the percentage may be even higher then the official numbers since it is "identify" as white.

According to their own law. There is no way for them to actually counter if companies just ask someone to “self-identify as X”

“from an underrepresented community” means an individual who self-identifies as Black, African American, Hispanic, Latino, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Native Hawaiian, or Alaska Native, or who self-identifies as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender.”

“Female” means an individual who self-identifies her gender as a woman, without regard to the individual’s designated sex at birth.

So theoretically companies can literally have an all white blonde hair blue eyed straight male board. But as long as enough of them “self-identities” as whatever the law requires there to be. The government can’t do shit. Since there’s literally no legal framework to determine the limits or validity of “self-identification”

You are nuder the assumptions that companies do not want to do this type of shit but the truth is that inside this companies there is a good push for all the mandated diversity so any encouraging is going to push it even further.

Oh, I'm sure there are woke companies out there that are all for this law.

I'm pointing out the hilarious fact that to essentially bypass this law all you need to do is say you identify as X. There's literally no legal way for them to verify or challenge your claim. Self-identification is exactly just that, self-identification. The only person who can know if your claims are true or not is yourself.

Can you imagine the legal shit show if they tried to legally regulate what qualified as X?

Ex: "To identify as gay you must have performed fellatio on the member of the same biological sex no less than X amount of times."
