The past few generations lied to us. First, you can tell a book by it's cover. Second, some people are better than others. And some people are much, much worse.

The original description for it is that the book was beautifully bound, so you shouldn't judge something that looks better than it actually is. A reversal of how people use it now.

Won't lie: bought more than one book specifically because of the cover. And the relationship between cover art and content quality is really damned strong.

My wife wants to cancel our Costco membership because it’s literally all just jeets crawling through ever single aisle with 4 generations of smelly turds blocking up the entire store. It’s ruined any good experience of going to browse and at this point I am inclined to cancel as well and just get gasoline from somewhere else.
Edit: additionally I constantly see a metric thrown out that “the U.S. population is only 1.6% Indians” and there is just no fucking way that is accurate. Maybe for citizens, but I suspect that doesn’t include H1Bs and their imported families.

The defining characteristic of cities in WA with absurdly high jeet concentrations is proximity to Microsoft headquarters. The area surrounding it is 15-20% Indian. It would be great on several levels if they ship that whole company over to India.
