And we'll be told the small, conservative Christian country of Hungary always wanted buttsex parades and infinite Somali immigration.

If I ever get into a position of influence I'm setting up North Korean elections for my own country. Sick and tired of these globalist companies trying to mess with our stuff, so now there will only be pre-decided elections in our favor.

I'd setup American style elections tbh. Both candidates work for you and it's always 51/49 while you maintain you have the fairest elections in the world.

Can you also stuff all the tech oligarchs into burlap sacks and throw them in oubliettes? Examples must be made.

Remember they canceled the election in Romania

Why Romania Just Canceled Its Presidential Election https://www.journalofdemocracy.org/online-exclusive/why-romania-just-canceled-its-presidential-election/

On December 6, the Romanian Constitutional Court made a startling decision: It canceled the country’s presidential elections just two days before the final round of voting. Until that moment, the court had reassured the country that it would allow the elections to proceed. Suddenly, it reversed course, citing a newly declassified intelligence report that pointed to Russian election interference on behalf of Călin Georgescu, an obscure far-right nationalist who unexpectedly became the favorite to win after the first round of voting. The court’s abrupt about-face threw Romania’s political landscape into chaos, stunning both domestic observers and the international community.

Fake democracy. When far right wing White Nationalists are about to win an election, they cancel it.

Democracy is fake in the USA too. Democracy is fake around most of the world.

It's a tight race, which is why this matters. But perhaps Orban's party can rally around online censorship from foreign Big Tech companies.

The affected publications belong to the pro-government media conglomerate Mediaworks. Together, the pages reportedly commanded hundreds of thousands of followers.

The timing is more than suspicious: Hungary will hold parliamentary elections on April 12, in a contest framed by conservative Prime Minister Viktor Orbán as a choice between national sovereignty and deeper integration with Brussels.

His governing Fidesz party is locked in a tight race with the opposition Tisza Party, which belongs to the Europhile European People’s Party.

Facebook’s actions resemble a co-ordinated move against right-wing media. The suspensions could influence the online information landscape during a critical phase of the campaign.

Orban has different channels to communicate. Not all of them were banned.

In all fairness, based on the sentiment here, Orban and his party has a higher chance of losing, than winning.

Just in time for the new EU migration rules that force 3rd world migrants on countries who haven't been browned yet. Guess Hungarian voters saw the state of Germany and thought "our Christmas markets are too safe" and "we need more cities that look like they could be in the Middle East or Africa". Good thing the EU also just passed a migration agreement with India. Hungary sure could use a million Jeets ... or 10.

You understand that they hold your economy hostage in order to force diversity on you, yes? Your economy will never be "good" until you agree to orchestrate your own replacement.

You don't have to tell me this. I was talking about general sentiment in the capital, which, in all fairness, has always been more left leaning, than the rest of the country. I simply gave a status report by a local. What the result will be is an open question at this point, but one thing Orban and his party have not had for at least two, maybe three elections is meaningful opposition. They will have a harder time winning this round, than any of the recent ones.

And they think voting for Eurocrats is going to change that? Have they looked at Germany or France who are donwright broke despite extracting record amounts of money via taxes and whose economies are in the shitter?

The more EU you get the worse you are off, politically, economically and especially socially.

▲ 2 ▼
– BlightBane 2 points 113 days ago +2 / -0

This is not how the general population sees things here, unfortunately. Which is part of the reason Orban and his party will have a harder time winning this round, than any of the recent ones.

Surely that will be improved by increasing supply of labor, increasing demand for housing, increasing crime rates and giving invaders welfare.
