Oh yeah, from personal experience. Last year's super bowl party my friends threw was attended by way more wives and girlfriends than the previous three years combined. They all wore shirts that said stuff like "Go Taylor's Boyfriend!" which is somehow not dehumanizing or sexist, and at least three of them brought Swift themed desserts.
The season going strong and the playoffs started strong but things kind of limped to the finish. It's kind of an underwhelming super bowl in general and way less big stars than there's been in the SB in a long time
Everything really fell apart when they announced a fruitcake in a dress as the halftime show. Most people have no idea who he is, and most of those who do don't like him.
The halftime show is a BIG part of the "Superbowl Experience" they market. The commercial slots before and after are a HUGE source of revenue.
If I was in marketing? I'd demand a 50% discount at a minimum after they announced the "talent" for it. Or pull out altogether.
At least they'll have that guy who sings all those songs no one every heard of.
Don’t enough people in America hate the Patriots to make up for it?
Football is for boomers, so of course viewership will decline every year.
It's been up the last three years
Were Swifties really watching the super bowl for her? I doubt it, tbh. Feels like a forced meme

Flat, flavorless, and only truly appealing to those who enjoy slop?

I'm just as shocked as anyone that the Seahawks are against the Patriots again.
