Karen Horney tried incredibly hard to cancel Sigmund Freud back in the 1930s for saying things she didn't like about women when it came to Psychology. So much so that she broke away from him, spent years building an entire school to say "no you!" to his every theory and tried to usurp the entire field of Psychology while it was still in the womb from him. It was her influence that created the meme of him being completely wrong on everything and only useful as a historical footnote, as Psychology would go on to be captured by Feminism in America quickly after.
