I miss Kevin McCarthy. Which is a wild thing to say, but Johnson just pisses me off.
Also, I'm so tired of the MAGA cultism. Again, Trump has done some good stuff, and I'm glad he won. It would have been worse if he hadn't.. But "core MAGA" is looking pretty pathetic, when they still want to act like he's perfect, while everyone else grows increasingly frustrated. It was funny 2015-2024, and it was also important, because he was getting attacked for bad reasons, and I'm glad MAGA was so defensive of him.
But now Trump is being a retard on so much, and the hardcore Trumpists (again, the people pushing this are often Never Trumpers themselves, from back in the day) are acting like this is still 2016 Trump fighting the Swamp™. Yeah, no, Trump is the establishment now, and what they're trying to turn MAGA into is just an attempt to push people back onto the plantations.
While I still don't hate Trump, I do hate the establishment, and he's currently pushing a bunch of that shit, and needs to get called out. This isn't Red v Blue, Dem v Republican. This is Retards v...us, the American people.
At the rate things are going, Trump could end up fucking the economy almost as much as Biden did. We've slowed the bleeding, but we don't seem to have actually changed course on most things. And it's very clear you can vote for whoever you want, you get the deep state.

"Core MAGA" is dead. All that is left is MIGA neocons wearing it like a skin suit, and Trump is the one that gave it to them to wear. Our enemy is not the Democrats. Our enemy is the Republican party. And that includes Trump.
Largely, yes. The original core MAGA people mostly aren't the current "MAGA" cultists, and the messaging is being ran by a lot of Neocon-aligned people and interests.
Our enemy is not the Democrats. Our enemy is the Republican party.
This is just as stupid as saying "our enemy isn't the Republicans, it's the Democrats."
Our enemy is anyone who is a traitor to the American people, and can't be redeemed or made use of. The Dems aren't the answer, most of them are also the enemy. AOC is not the answer, for example, and she's also an anti-American retard.
And that includes Trump.
Trump still has his uses, calling him the enemy is silly. He's aligned himself with the enemy on to many issues, needs to be constantly called out on that, and he could become an outright enemy, but for now he's still useful.
Depending on his decisions, Trump could remain one of the better presidents in recent history (as depressingly low of a bar as that is), or he could easily end up as one of the worst presidents in all of history. He's unpredictable. Sadly, if he goes through with some of his retarded economic issues, it does push him farther away from 'best recent president,' and puts him in danger of having a legacy of one of the worst. That could definitely happen. But it hasn't yet.
This is just as stupid as saying "our enemy isn't the Republicans, it's the Democrats."
Then you missed my point. Democrats are just the boogeyman. The monster under the bed that zionists and neocons tell us about to scare us into not questioning the status quo. The fight with them is just kayfabe. The demons pouring poison in our ears from our own side are the actual existential threat to this country, and nobody can convince me otherwise.
The Democrats are just their distraction for it. I'm not falling for it anymore. If the GOP wants to play their game of chicken with "vote for the neocon, or a communist might win", then I will take the fucking communist. If the choice is between submission and destruction, then pass the TNT.
Yeah, there's a large group if you think 50-year mortgages or stimulus checks are idiotic or even want to discuss they throw you right in with a liberal. That's just the current ones, I remember the same when I wasn't all about bombing Iran. It's not helping anyone do anything but divide even more.
Shutdown part, eh, whatever. No one noticed until they started screwing up airports and food stamps. Albeit I think a lot of those that let it continue that long were working for free.
I remember the same when I wasn't all about bombing Iran.
I caught a ton of flack for thinking that was a mistake and a massive betrayal. You'll never get me on board with that.
I'm glad it didn't all immediately implode, and I hope it continues to be known as the "Twelve Day War," and not in an ironic sense. "Sigh, here I am in the trenches, it's Day 964 of the Twelve Day War..."
These creatures are the distilled essence of the Republican party. There to appear as if they are opposition whilst actively working against the interests of their constituents.
From the sounds of it all they got was to talk about it again in January, with the only thing "won" is most of the fired federal employees get unfired and their backpay (which I think was always going to be the case legally speaking so not much 'won').
Seems like the Dem's expected what you said, and were losing more than they were gaining so they are reconvening to try and formulate a plan to win at a later date.

You said it yourself just a bit further down:
"Core MAGA" is dead. All that is left is MIGA neocons wearing it like a skin suit, and Trump is the one that gave it to them to wear. Our enemy is not the Democrats. Our enemy is the Republican party. And that includes Trump.
It's both. For different reasons.
It was always both.

Fuck the GOP.

That sad uniparty quisling would have folded in 12 hours if Trump hadn't been yelling at him 24/7 to hold the line.
Same with feckless RINO John Thune.
These creatures are the distilled essence of the Republican party. There to appear as if they are opposition whilst actively working against the interests of their constituents.
Heh.
Lemme guess, Republicans give dems everything they want, dems promise not to break the rules any more as much

Jimmy Kimmel's wife: "Angry all the time."
Yea, I'm sure that's Trump's fault.
