Bolton was gleeful when they tried doing this exact same thing to Trump. Whoops!!!

Difference is, the executive has unlimited classification and declassification authority. In a literal sense he can do as he pleases.
Bolton has no such power.
That was my first thought on reading this, where was he when the guy in power was getting raidlroaded for the same thing.
Turns out setting up a grudge and I guess forgetting he did that when this guy came back into the office with a much more destructive mindset.
Oh no!
"... anyway."
Did Bolton store the documents in a bathroom or something?
Nail that mustachioed faggot to the wall.
On a mishandling of documents case?
This is the literal definition of a deep state slap on the wrist.
Everyone is guilty of it. They can whip this out in a heartbeat if they want. You only do it as part of a coverup.
He's getting off soft. He should be drawn and quartered.
Just like Snowden and Manning, right?
If the prosecution is actually serious, they'll put him away. If it's not, they won't. The exact charges don't matter.
Snowden and Manning were charged with much more than misappropriating classified documents. That was ONE of their charges, unlike Bolton, not ALL of them.
There's no equivalence here.
Hold your breath out of hope if you want.
For a minute I thought it said Michael Bolton, all I could think was "what an odd thing for a singer to get charged with"
This is the tale, of captain Jack Sparrow.
Bolton should be giving mustache rides in prison.
Consequences? What are those?
