Edit: I searched it up and apparently the "first degree murder as an act of terrorism" charge was dropped, probably because it's hard to prove terroristic intent, especially when he had personal beef with the health care industry. Additionally, from what I understand from things I have looked up, New York has strange ways of naming their charges that are not shared by other states. So in this case, 2nd Degree Murder would be the equivalent of 1st Degree Murder in any other state, and 1st Degree Murder you basically have to murder a cop before they can do it.
It is the same as how the New York Supreme Court is actually the Appellate Court for any other state.
Because basically anything with the word " AF " in it basically never posts links to their material in order to disguise the fact that they are usually stormfags who are driving traffic to themselves.
And yes, it's going to be hard to prove terroristic intent, but I'd like to see what evidence they are missing to find that intent. The biggest problem here is that it means that this assassination will likely NOT be considered a Leftist terrorist attack in all records going forward. I think this was the true reason, and it's because the New York criminal system is explicitly favoring Leftist political violence.
If Charlie Kirk had been assassinated at NYU instead of Utah, I would expect the prosecutors to do the same thing.
