They just got better at hiding it, ironically because of Gamergate. Remember how openly smug they acted during gg? They thought labeling someone a "shitlord" and "neckbeard" was all they needed to unperson someone. Remember how activists like Big Red became laughing stocks?
When those labels became ineffective, they escalated: racist, sexist, transphobe, alt-right, nazi, fascist, etc. But the desired outcome remained the same. They want us gone. "No bad tactics, only bad targets".
They became better at obfuscating their intentions, they hide behing platitudes and slogans
Holy shit, I'd all but forgotten "shitlord" was ever not ironic, or a badge of honor.
Just a thought, but maybe they should get actual arguments instead. Because they just ruin and discredit whatever insult they use against us, because they can never break our arguments. If they had good arguments, though, they wouldn't be leftists.
Shitlord and pissbaby. Man, that brings me back.
It feels so long ago, but, technically it was. That was that pre-gamergate 2012 & 2014 era of arguing with Tublrinas. (did you forget that name)
They don't have to because the majority of normies are "rote thinkers" (they reason in terms of singular "if A then B' factoids, unable to process analytically). They will adopt a position based solely on mere exposure to attitudes toward that position. Vapid name calling works, unfortunately.
It's very depressing. And I'm glad I can at least think to some extent.
I heard another study referenced yesterday, similar to the internal monologue thing, and the breakfast memes, that say seventy-five percent of people have basically no critical thinking capacity, and go along with authority almost all the time. And this was linked back to what we saw during Covid.
It's just such a depressing thought, that such a high percentage of my fellow humans are almost literal NPCs. But there's plenty of anecdotal and statistical data showing, if not 75%, at the very least the number is disturbingly high.
There was also 'shitweasel' and 'shitheel'. Good times.
Leftists are bad at coming up with insults.
I think you meant violent, but the Left also spreads like a virus, so they are also virulent. All still true.
I think I'd like to add in some additional info about the history of Leftwing political violence.
I think this video of The angriest I've ever seen Michael Knowles get, shows what it looks like when a relative normie discovers the beginnings of just how bad it really is.
There have been 3 major periods of Leftist violence in America, and none of them are referred to as Leftwing terror campaigns.
All of these comprised hundreds if not thousands of shootouts, bombings, riots, assassinations, and more, normally as part of a wider terror campaign internationally. The most recent one, honestly, was the 2020 Black National Socialist Kristallnacht, which also expanded into Canada's Red Terror against Catholics and the burning of 16 churches, and the vandalization of 40 others.
Of all the major terrorist attacks or offensives in history, here's the ones nobody talks about, and were all Leftwing:
And just to be clear only The Wallstreet Bombing is even referred to as a Leftist Terrorist attack on Wikipedia.
There's so much more. It's unfathomable. Political violence from Leftist ideology represents the vast and sweeping majority of all political violence in American history. There are fucking enormous amounts of Leftist violence in America and history and absolutely none of them are affiliated with the Left. Here's a good one:
Jonestown was a Leftist suicide event. People don't even talk about the fact that Jim Jones was directly involved in California Democrat politics, including Diane Feinstein directly. Jonestown was a Leftist Commune. He decided to kill all of his followers when it appeared that the local government would have him arrested, and his appeals to the Soviet Union were rejected. When Jim Jones's men killed two US congressmen who came down to work with him on letting people go, that's when he decided to execute everyone.
I bet you no one in any documentary of any stripe ever said a word about how well Jim Jones was connected to the California Democrats, and how his cult was a Leftist organization.
Virulent can also mean: full of malice, violent, hateful, etc.
Thanks for the breakdown
I appreciate that.
And in a good example of how hard the Left Wing grip over a lot of historical events are, if you have ever seen anything related to Kent State, you would think it was some universally reviled event where everyone was siding with the students against the Guard. But in reality (and this has started to be pointed out more recently), polling in the aftermath of the event at the time show the majority of Americans actually sided with the Guard and favored the crackdown on the student protest. But good luck knowing that with any media on the matter.
Same thing with the Coal Wars, where I see so many of the usual suspects treat them as heroes when in reality they were thugs who had formed their own militias for the most part and it is why they needed military firepower to dig them out.
The one I always go to as well (just because it's personal) is the fact that so many of especially the Left Wing glaze John Brown (hence all of the "John Brown Gun Clubs"), even though he was a bloodthirsty psycho who failed at everything he tried. He was such a bad commander when he was in Kansas that no Jayhawk Militia's (the Free State militias) wanted to work with him, he was directly responsible for Bleeding Kansas escalating from a handful of skirmishes between light forces to a full scale mini-Civil War by executing a group of civilians because one of them had been a slave hunter a decade ago. And of course, his raid on Harpers Ferry that did not kick off a slave revolt, only made the South paranoid that the North wanted to kill them, and of course started with him killing a freed black man for the crime of "Not joining my revolution." Meanwhile, if you wanted an actual symbol of the Abolitionist cause who was actually effective at his job and was the badass people pretend Brown was, you would look to Cassius Clay, but the Left Wing has suppressed him for decades.
Just for clarification he's talking about Cassius Clay the politician from the 1860s, not the seditious black supremacist who converted to Islam and threw away the name a century later.
Nobody in the media at the time wanted to accept it, and despite their best efforts, especially to this day since KSU is still lefty anyway, they want to bury the fact that most people agreed with what the Governor was doing. They still claim crazy things like the NG troops fired directly into the crowd, which wasn't possible considering the injuries came from all over campus, as they were firing into the air. They were firing into the air because the Communists were hurling stones, bricks, and bottles into their face, and they had backed themselves into a fence and could no longer maneuver. The reason that none of the guardsmen were charged was because the courts deduced that they were in reasonable fear for their lives given that communists hand seized the University, burned down the RTOC building, and were using weapons that could cause them grievous bodily harm.
Not that the Left are prepared to admit that. Where the guard actually fucked up is that they were the ones who maneuvered themselves out of position, and no one actually came to assist or evacuate them. Basically, the reason no one gave an order to fire, is because the men were trying to get Communists to stop pelting them with bricks, and they felt their lives were in danger.
As for the Coal Wars, I can actually see some legitimacy with some of those where it's a shoot out at a "company town" or the like where labor & company relations had been simmering for years. It wasn't just the workers that had 'thugs'.
That being said, as you note, the Communists would go looking for these situations and agitate them to a maximum potential level. Normally that meant getting killers and thugs to torture and murder "scags" who didn't do what the union wanted, when it wanted. I read more than a few instances of times when Communists would agitate for a couple years, then leave right before the shooting started and just raise their hands and go "Not me! I'm not involved!"
John Brown wasn't even a Leftist. I doubt he even knew what it was. I think they just affiliate themselves with him because he was a maniac. They don't talk about his murders.
I need to know more about Cassius Clay, because the way that the Steven Spielberg movie portrayed him, he was probably crazier than John Brown, and more corrupt than all of Lincoln's staff, but was actually competent. Depending on his approach to the South, he might belong in the Villain column.
Yeah, Brown was just a religious zealot, who literally believed he had heard the word of God tell him to go on a genuine, unironic Crusade and that the Southern Plantation owners were actually demons in the service of the Devil, and that by igniting a slave revolt it would bring the righteous hand of God to smite the demons. I am sure it is just a coincidence this didnt lend to excellent tactical command and resulted in his forces walking into numerous ambushes until, like I said, no Jayhawk or Redleg wanted anything to do with him and told him to do his own thing.
It was mostly me just commenting on how he is the cause celeb among a lot of Leftist as a "symbol of revolution", yet he was a religious zealot (which they would claim they hate) and failed at basically everything he did and only accomplished escalating tensions and violence to the point it made sure the Civil War could not possibly be avoided.
I dont really know about his time as a politician as he was actually not in the political arena all that long (he served one term in Kentucky before being run out by a coordinated campaign because of being an abolitionist), and spent far more of his time as an activist giving speeches. I could see some ways he was crazier than John Brown (after all, after getting jump by 6 assassins and managing to kill almost all of them, his only response was "I felt the utmost indignation"), he was actually one of the single most effective Abolitionist in the United States in terms of actually changing peoples minds. On top of getting Russian help for the Union during the Civil War (they provided some warships to help hunt Confederate blockade runners) and helping to negotiate the purchase of Alaska while he was ambassador to Russia. I thought you had seen this one before?
The only thing even mentioned in our high school textbooks about the event was that picture of the woman screaming and kneeling over that dead student.
Another thing about Kent State that people today don't know is that public opinion was highly in favor of the National Guard back then. Normal people have always fucking despised leftists but, because they're normal, tolerated them and tried to think well of them and accepted them as human beings.
There were also multiple bombings of the US Capitol in the 70s and 80s and people involved in them got away completely cleanly.
Hugely in favor. Remember that the Kent State shooting took place BEFORE the 1972. An election he won with one of the greatest electoral landslides in history, and that was AFTER Neil Young made the protest song "4 Dead In Ohio", which is still played to this day on classic rock stations, as if it had a major impact on the election. It did not.
That bombing happened in 1983 and was also totally ignored.
I had no idea that the Puerto Ricans were stupid for this long. I just thought it was a recent thing.
Yeah, it's been a bit. Communism was desperately inserted into the Caribbean, and it's a tough nut to get out.
Was going to say, both fit.
Ive not forgotten summer of love and mostly peaceful protests.
In the year 2000 - 25 years ago - Christina Hoff Sommers released a book called "The War on Boys". It documents the destruction of our society by feminist cancer.
The left wanted to kill people like her, Erin Prizzy and others for years before Gamergate. #killallmmen was and is a thing.
It is an indictment on both left and right for being blind towards the rot that started decades and is still there brainwashing our kids producing murderous demons like Tyler Robinson.
This is how people with huge sums of money operate.
Not entire groups of regular free people.
isreal is virulent. from this you can work out literally everything else.
Do not become distracted. They don't publicly execute their enemies from a position of strength.
Y'all niggers are too high brow for me I thought this was about video games or something? Wtf am I Keyser soze?
