They couldn't have found a more "evil Jewish stereotype" phenotype if they tried with that guy.
Also, nobody likes Hawkgirl. She is never going to be a thing, other than a roster fluffer. Justice League the DCAU version had her as a main character during most of its run, and it was one of the biggest DC properties ever in terms of being beloved, and literally no one cared about her by the time it was done. Her literal only purpose is "the not Wonder Woman female" for the team.
Yeah, though it was at least John Stewart, one of the other and more well liked main members. I think if she ended up with any of the other, much more popular main members (with legions of shippers), it would have been far more controversial. Because comic books.
Half of her writing in the show focuses on her either doing random action scenes, or being in a love triangle. Seemingly because they had no idea what to do with her so they kept pairing her (and John) off with random people to give them something to do while the real stars did work.
They set her up with John Stewart and had an episode of her instigating a bar fight with aliens on another world, because that's what she likes: fighting and drinking. Afterwards, the Thanagarians arrived on earth and they revealed that she was sent as an operative of the Thanagarian army to spy on earth.
Its been like 20 years for me (god its been that long since it aired), so literally all my memory of her as a character is "fly in and try to hit them with a mace."

They portrayed her as a roughhouser, who was more man than your typical guy.
Its been a while but wasn't she a cop on her planet? Checks out that a female cop would be way too aggressive and violent.

(Recently saw season 3.)

Heh, a few days ago I saw a Fantastic Four spoof with four of the more famous bodycam stills of "scholars and engineers":
The Fentastic Four
Can't seem to find it again unfortunately.
I had to go see the movie recently, the most unrealistic part was expecting Africans and other minorities to build the teleporters properly.

That's it, plus a fantastic four but logo with "fent" because fentanyl.
Jew Supes.
Latina Hawkgirl.
What else I miss?
Black Perry. A female 'special forces' operative who turns into an 'engineer/combat specialist' capable of trading punches with Superman.
That must be the writer that made her make out and finger Bella Ramsey
I miss when she was a red head. They should bring that back. But of course, the (((Queen of England))) would never allow Hollywood to do that.
Same energy
Do they seriously think a woman letting out a shrill screech is supposed to be scary?
Budget version of Michelle Rodriguez.
Imagine being able to fly with wings that flap in the narrow corridors of a building.
Implying I'd pay to see a brown female screech at me when I can get it for free
