Yeah it's pure slacktivism. Meant to give people the impression they're doing something to help, but really it does basically nothing at all.
At least the "Stop Killing Games" and calling mastercard/visa stuff actually impacts people, even if it probably won't have that huge an effect, it's more than some empty poll.
SKG at least did it through the official channel that forces the EU legislation to actually meet and discuss the issue. Its why Ross, an American, did it there instead of here.
Change.org has never mattered or accomplished anything of value.
I suspect that its purpose is to direct energy that might actually be put towards making actually beneficial changes into a void, and to encourage righteous indignation among the left and keep them voting Democrat. By that standard I suppose it does have "value" to some people.
Its successfully tricked a lot of Lefties into "doing something about it" by signing and thereby not going out and actually doing anything about it on some retarded issue that would make everything worse anyway.
This tells you that Collective Shout is secretly a coalition of Western governments. EDIT: People have already figured out Collective Shout is connected to the Australian government. But there has to be more people involved if they can just remove something from change.org. Because change.org's headquarters is located in the USA.
Not to minimize the censorship, but has a change.org petition ever achieved anything? At all?

You have a better chance by writing a letter to Santa than a petition on Change.org.
If it was worthless, they wouldnt have bothered to take it down. Even a tiny cut against the regime is worth the effort.
My dinner was different yesterday. Checkmate bigot.

Change my mind.

This one is still up. I assume it’s not what you’re talking about.
The one that was taken down was much larger, it had thousands of signatures: https://www.change.org/p/calling-on-everyone-to-stop-collective-shout
