The problem at microsoft isn't just their latest spyware - it's that they make shit that no one wants and then force it on them. They never make a program you can download, they never make a normal installer - that's for the pleb developers. MS just roots that shit straight into your pc without your consent. Clippy is the poster child for this. There was no "download clippy today" campaign, they never had to find customers and figure out what they wanted, they just raped that shit straight into word and now you have it. You might as well change your profile pic to a herpes sore.
The meme singularity has happened and now time has bent backwards on itself so the new trends are all the old ones again because the world has collectively run out of creativity.
A jew posted this video (the one linked by OP) in which he asks people to change their profile picture to Clippy, to protest how all modern software is just malware now (he points ot that Clippy, while annoying, did not send your files to Microsoft), and lots of people are doing it.
