All five players found not guilty in Hockey Canada trial
All five players in the high-profile Hockey Canada sexual assault trial have been found not guilty.Ontario Superior Court Justice Maria Carroccia delivered her ruling on Thursday afternoon in front of a packed London, Ont. courtroom, which included all fiv...
Based on what I was told by someone who has a first hand account:
Her whole case was that she never consented to the guys coming over and that when the guys came over she felt she was forced to adopt a "pornstar persona" because she was anxious and intimated by the other guys being there.
Some people have speculated that it was a setup from the start because this girl went to the Hockey Gala... what kinds of young girls go to hockey Galas? Puck bunnies or honey pots. She went to the same bar all the hockey guys were going to and goes home with a drunk hockey guy where she over performs sexually to the point he felt compelled to call his buddies because this girl was crazy. Then she starts masturbating on the floor for the guys and taunts them to fuck her by calling them faggots... But then she's not happy afterward? Something doesn't quite add up.
The story gets even more interesting when you understand something only a first-hand account would that the media isn't telling you. The girl appears to have borderline downs syndrome. Now, to you or I that might be uh, red flag, maybe the guys were taking advantage of her but truthfully, the guys are also the biggest meatheads you'd ever imagine. They might as well be borderline downs also.
Originally, lawyers actually wanted to frame it like the guys orchestrated everything as if they were mastermind serial rapists but given how stupid the guys came off, it wasn't even believable. On the other hand, the idea that this girl herself was also a criminal mastermind looking to entrap the guys also falls a part because she's basically retarded herself.
I would have leaned toward the idea that I think the girl was fine with everything then told the story to people afterward who convinced her to go to police but she went to police 2 hours afterward. This to me indicates it's far more likely she planned the whole thing herself or someone told her what to do and the whole thing was pre-planned. This is actually what I think truly happened. I think she's friends with some leftist types who planted the idea of entrapping the guys in her head beforehand and she went along with it. She got a $3m payout in civil court and leftists got to promote feminist anti-male goals.
Her story had holes in it all over the place like she claimed she was super drunk but they proved the shot glasses that were used were those fake shot glasses that look like they're full shot glasses but aren't actually full shot glasses so the amount of alcohol she consumed was considerably less than she claimed. She didn't have to lie about how drunk she was to prove lack of consent so it seems as if she was just trying all the stops to win and wasn't trying to be honest. The judge actually went easy on her if anything.
What saddens me is that nearly everyone commenting on this case has 0 clue about the details.
The court came to the right verdict because it was a judge. I suspect a jury wouldn't have come to the right verdict but these men's lives are ruined forever without any justice for them and so too are the lives of future men who play hockey because of the changes I'm sure Hockey Canada has implemented.
We need to start prosecuting false rape accusations. This girl should get 25 years in prison (5 for each guy which is likely what they would have got if found guilty).
I happened to see coverage on Sportnet tonight after the verdict came in.
"Trust the experts..." this isn't even legal lol.
What total propaganda. No wonder the public is so retarded. I can't believe people watch TV.
Know that I think about it, there was also some comment on SN (maybe from the Crown Attorneys?) about trying to set precedent about the responsibilities of bystanders.
After reading your hearsay synopsis, it seems that they are also trying to establish case law that simply being present for an alleged crime essentially makes you guilty of the offense by association, similar to the crowd control cop in the Derek Chauvin case.
They seem to be implying that the bystanders had a duty to act and intervene. Which would make sense why they are trying all 5 as a group if by your contact's account only 3 had any sexual congress.
They seem imply on TV that the two "pizza guys" were just as guilty.
"Duty to intervene" just makes everyone guilty all the time. Because "Duty to intervene" is synonymous with "Vigilantism", which is ALSO illegal, generally speaking.
Yes but what really fucks the prosecution up in this is she was gleefully masturbating for everyone when pizza guys were there and willingly walking up to one of them to suck his dick, then fuck another in the bathroom. None of these guys had any idea that Michael might not have necessarily asked her if she wanted a threesome. They just got a text by him saying to come for one so they would have presumed he vetted the consent already because why would their buddy ask them to come rape a girl... And when they walked in, she appeared to be 100% consenting, even taunting the guys to fuck her.
The defendants lawyer pointed this out and said how absurd it was that they could get in trouble because they had no reason to suspect there wasn't consent.
Gamergate’s Zoe Quinn show that our society financially rewards women who make up false accusations.
If you financially reward something- you get more of it.
All I'm getting from this is DON'T HAVE SEX WITH STRANGERS.
They wanted to arrest the ones who didn't have sex, too, don't forget. So that policy alone isn't quite enough. They DID arrest them, in fact. And put them through a kangaroo court and got them fired, when there's film evidence AND "victim" evidence that they did fuck-all (or rather, fuck-none).
Do I have sex with my family members or what? Without having sex with strangers, I wouldn't have sex because I don't keep girl friends sooo.... Pretty much all women I sleep with started as a stranger.
I think the real moral here is don't give any potential ammunition for a girl to sue you or she'll use it. If you're famous or have lots of money, only have sex while sober and get them to sign a waiver.
Based on your contact's written account, the most questionable part would seem to be the first Michael one-night-stand guy calling 4 of his buddies over the next morning because she was such a "sex fiend".
There's nothing criminal about it, but it is definitely weird.
I don't have the sexual magnetism or prowess to pull anything like that off. But I've never even heard of anyone IRL calling up other men to tagteam in. Especially without adding more accompanying women to the balance.
It's definitely a "frat bro" mentality, you'd only see it in a frat or a sports team. I was in a frat so I get the mentality but even we were tame in comparison but I did hear stories of guys double teaming or more girls at frat parties. The hockey guys are a bit of a different story and it's more intense in hockey than in a frat IMO for this sense of comradery to the point of inviting guys over to tag team a girl.
Who knows how much of it was entirely Michael though. She might have planted the seed in his head. That part I didn't hear. Her testimony was that he never asked her before he called his friends and I never clarified with my source what his stance was. I could see her potentially "joking" about it the day before and him just doing it without asking because he figured she'd be into it based on some stuff he said but that he didn't explicitly ask her in the morning. An oversight for sure but a reasonable one. He fucked up in that regard but if this was all a trap anyhow, it's what she wanted.
Michael kinda let his bros down too cause he put them in a dangerous situation and essentially ruined their lives. He should have trusted the girl more before getting his friends in. The 4 other guys would have trusted him to have properly vetted the girls willingness and trustworthiness when they came over so they weren't putting themselves at risk and Michael failed in this, letting his friends down. Not entirely his fault but if there was going to be 1 person to get in trouble with anything, it would be him though him and his friends have already more than suffered enough.
Seriously, pay for it.
I am not joking. Paying a professional is a much less risky way to get your rocks off. Professionals that run off to the police don't get repeat business. There are websites that give reviews to ladies of negotiable affection in places it is legal.
In any state or territory where there are "Yes means yes" or "affirmative consent laws" the onus is on the man to prove that they had consent at every stage, and that consent was never withdrawn. It reverses the presumption of innocence.
Casual sex is just not worth it. Either go on an overseas trip (and be careful about where) or just save yourself until marriage.
Oh, she's downy fresh. Yeah, that works. She has impulse control, and sex is definitely one of them. I had a downs syndrome roommate at one point. No one really knew how that could work. He was constantly doing stuff he shouldn't.
My bet is she was the bate, not the master.
I've heard of the story and my old man said it sounded like BS, but I didn't know the details. That's fucking insane, I figured they actually all fucked her and she regretted it. Going to be interesting to see the fallout
